  • @myjugsarehuge Thanks J. I did have a great time. Glad to see you are back up and running and have sorted out your pc problems hopefully. Hope you enjoy the rest of the vids.

  • Cool, accept for the clouds it looked like a great ride.

  • @RC62 After the first day riding in torrential rain and thinking I could have done this at home, those clouds were a relief as it remained dry...lol.Luckily the weather did improve the further south we traveled.

  • Excellent. was looking forward to seeing your trip...waiting for more. Had to laugh when I caught a glimps of the flag.

  • @Fotoez Thanks Foto will try get the next episode out asap....had to fly the flag....lol.

  • very very cool vdieo its so strange hearing your vioce and not passing any castles or stone walls and dirt roads but i'll tell ya one thing it is great to hear you in any land

  • @aeroliner750 Thanks Aero. It was different for me too but a fantastic experience that I certainly will never forget. RSMF.

  • I was so glad to see the sun come out for you. That strech of I-5 between Canada and Seattle is pretty boring but I am glad to hear you got off and tried some of the twisties because there are tons of awesome roads around me and I have been riding them for a while and still don't have them all covered. I also love that bridge. Its so massive but beautiful. Thanks for sharing. It was really cool to see my area in the eyes of a visitor.

  • @TheHappyThought We had planned a much more scenic route down but because of our late start that day and the weather, had to use the I-5 to get back on track. The Caukanaut Drive was a nice road and on the way back we went the more scenic route and had good weather too.You have some great roads around you there.

  • It's a nice surprise to hear that familiar voice but in different surroundings and saying the American/Canadian place names. I get to live vicariously through your vids! :D

  • @808yewtube I am probably pronouncing the place names all wrong....lol.Thanks for the great comment 808.

  • @RedanWhiteRebel haha! Your take on the words is what makes it so charming :)

  • @808yewtube We stayed the first night in a place called Puyallup.....you should have heard my attempt at that ..... I cut it out but might do bloopers vid......lol.

  • Well done...Well done!

  • @jasongiddensviper478Thanks Jason.... much appreciated.

  • Great vid,I hope you enjoyed your visit to the U.S.

  • @pulse0000 many words could describe the trip pulse and outstanding would have to be one of them...thanks for the comment.

  • Great vid RWR!!!! Glad you got to catch a west coast sunset. Truly Beautiful!!! Nice Job of editing also. I know your putting hours into them!!

  • @navythomas8 nah only took a few minutes to throw together...lol.Thanks Tom.

  • Thank you for sharing your journey, RWR. I look forward to more of the series.

  • @onejillion Thank you Jill...doing the vids is like re-living the whole trip again and giving me really itchy feet and throttle hand to go again....lol.

  • I was waiting for the sequel. The bridge of large proportions cannot be seen in Japan.

    It looks forward to continuation.

It prays for a safe, good travel.

  • @WhiteCat46 Thanks WhiteCat....we don't have any bridges of that sze in Ireland either.

  • Welcome, thanks for visiting us!

  • @JimNtexas Thanks Jim it was a pleasure. Texas is on my wish list as I would love to see your part of the country.

  • @really2ugly Thanks r2u I am trying to get them out as soon as possible so hopefully it will not take too long.

  • I plan on doing much of that trip next year. Looks like I need a better rain suit.

  • @cashstore1 The first day leaving was the only day of rain Dennis and I got for the whole trip.Paul had rain on his return trip to Vancouver but the rest of the time we managed to stay dry so you should be ok. Its a trip I recommend to everyone.

  • nice vid keep it up u should be on a bmw or a vstrom

  • @kd4ysi or a pink scooter!

  • @kd4ysiThanks kd.... I would have loved to do it on my GS but was delighted with the Shadow and it's performance for the journey.

  • Good on ye for flyin the flag. Was that Raglan Road the pipes were playing at the start? Looks like you had a great time there. I bet you felt like your ass was dragging along the ground on the Shadow after being used to the GS. USA and Canada are on my wish list. One of these days.

  • @Hank2wheels usa is on your wish list? mine too! my "wish I wasn't here" list. LOL

  • @Hank2wheels The flag was only missing for one morning when I had to get a replacement stick and was the start of many conversations. There was a big difference between the Shadow and the GS but I am really impressed with the Shadow it didn't let me down once. I hope you get to do your trip...it took me three years to plan doing this but it was worth it.

  • @Hank2wheels The tune is called The Dawning of the Day and it is the same air as Raglan Road.

  • What great scenery! Keep 'em comin', Ger!

  • @L0udP1p35 Thanks Cliff. I hope you guys know how spoilt you are when it comes to scenery.

  • i fecken knew ya be flying the Flag. Thank god ya didnt get a KLR jasus ya never live it down. jas looks so wonderful. Great ride fair play to ya.

  • @larrythelookout Sure I had to fly the flag Larry....lol. It was a lifetime ambition to cruise the Pacific coast and I wasn't disappointed.
