Oh, Kasumi Ninja. I thought its a great game many years ago when I saw screen shots of it in Mags :P But honestly, it still looks good. It's definitely rich in color. Nice multi parallax scrolling in the background can be seen. And neat blood effect! Did you also noticed the locNes monster in the Scotland stage? Cool detail!
The A600 also has the numeric pad missing. Dont think that will be a problem as I wouldn't really be playing many games that depend on it such as flight simulators.
Like your Jaguar videos dude, cool to see some of the more decent titles for it. You cant go wrong with an amiga, but part of the reason why the CD32 faild was because the games were mainly ports, the console itself was basically a consoleised A1200.
lol the stereotypes are unbelievable! There's another game with similar stereotypes on it called human killing machine, ashens has done a review of it, have a look!
Doom on the Saturn has that same WONDERFUL effect on you.. Yeah, 32 bit 3D - dungeons - you have to love them.. Makes me laugh though, you go from Radiant Silvergun to that jerky, drunken mess.
Hmm, I love the whole "lost drunk at the back of a club toilet" feel of the character select mode. But, er, yeah...it seems to pull off the impressive feat of making the Mortal Kombat formula even worse. Kilt-concealed fireballs always add a bit of novelty though...
I wouldn't blame you for not bothering with Jag stuff, but then I'm a gamer and not a collector and so I'm more concerned about what the stuff's like to play. :D
Angus is probably the funniest character in any fighting game especially when he shoots fireballs from under his kilt! I don't know why they thought it was a good idea to have a dodgy 3D section at the start rather than a character select screen like every other fighting game. Nice video.
Yeah its a real shame - they are generally really cheap at car boots or rather they WERE. I think the problem is that people foolishly threw them away as they were "old". My parents did that with my Amiga 600 a few years ago - I wasn't a happy bunny!
I'm quite tempted by the CD32 though - how much were you looking for? As you say though, maybe sombody will do a swap?
The racing game you mentioned will either be Club Drive or Checkered Flag.
If you're after a real Amiga, I'd highly recommend a 1200 over a 600, as you can play the more advanced games, while still maintaining compatibility with "most" of the older games.
this should've been released on different consoles

Basically, if you have a Jaguar, you get Tempest 2000 for it! This console is the shit because of THAT game! Ok?!!!
Try it! It's Old school addictive & the Music is some of the best in Computer game history!

The real A1200 is quite compat too the only difference of the look between that and the A600 is only a inch of width added.

I'm so glad you got a Jag, the balance of good and shit games being played makes great entertainment value on the channel.

Yeah I really like the CD32 but I'd prefer an actual Amiga to use for all the games. Feel a bit limited with the system as is.

I think the biggest problem with the Jag is there just isn't that much worth collecting. All the good stuff is basically ports :(

I suspect they were goin gfor that nifty 3D look but failed miserably.

bleh looks about as arduous and tedious as "way of the warrior" for 3DO

Angus make the entire game worth it! ^^

Everyone loves a guy in a kilt!
Lorfarius 2 years ago
The only thing I know about this game is that it's got the scottish guy that shoots crotch fireballs. Also that it's a mortal kombat ripoff.
Watching your vid.... Yeah, it still looks terrible. LOL.

You can get keyboard adapters for the CD32 so you can plug in a PC keyboard.

Hoping to do a swap rather than sell :(

Yeah, they are a bit tricky to get hold of. I know someone who makes them up, cost about £15.

My only problem is space :( The 1200 would stick out over the edge of the desk while the 600 would be nice and snug on top. Sad reason I know.
