The north technically won because they completed their mission even though over a million died they got south Vietnam to be communist. And America failed their mission and just gave up
I don't care what people want to believe. But what I believe is America Won their part of the war. Our main goal was to make South Vietnam into a strong enough military power to oppose North Vietnam. After we left, South Vietnam lost to the North. We had nothing to do with South Vietnam's Failure. We completed our tactical objectives while we were there, and were actually tactically succesful.
We had a tactical victory in vietnam, but "lost" beacause we pulled out, no wonder afghanistan an iraq are going so slow, hippies and peace activist complaining, also a crap goverment..we did not lose vietnam, south vietnam did.
