that's what we called MIRACLE... baby breathe, eat (more to gain th nutrien) through the umbilical cord and plasenta! there's a lot of blood capilaries in there... the umbilical cord is like our lung and heart~baby's life for 9 months in the womb, until she born for the first time, that's the time she using the lung! the moments she cries is once the air meets the lungs! she using the heart and lung since then...hope it's helping...
