  • Thailand is a country worth to protect :)

  • Even F-16 are more power full than JAS-39 WTF! we need a better fighter than F-16 not newer than F-16 shit. i know JAS-39 are just going to replace our F-5 but that squadron of F-5 is take position as air-intercept squadron fuck!!!

  • lol

  • India Air Force is not as big as the Uk & Usa Ones.

  • hello Royal Thai Armed Forces

  • One of the strongest airforce in Southeast Asia

  • You call that an air power? lol..... watever! have you ever heard of our F-22 Raptor? just 5 of them would wipe out your whole air force plus the crappy gripen or watever,

  • @Leonboderak Just in case you didn't know, the US is beyond broke financially with more than $14 trillions in debt & rising at a rate of $1.5 trillion per year. So, if the China stops lending money to the US, how on earth the USAF can afford to keep its super-expensive Raptor airborne? You know, it takes airspeed & MONEY to fly. No MONEY means no flying, OK? Besides, each Raptor can carry 6 Amraam so 5 of them could destroy 30 jets in Stealth mode. RTAF has more than 60 jets, so???

  • @KATAERO1 Federal Reserve System possesses an unlimited "printing" ability, and everyone must accept those electronic dollars that aren't worth the paper they aren't printed on at whatever rate the Debt Syndicate sets, because if they don't allow the bankers to plunder everthing the syndicate has that country blown up.

Please describe stealth mode for our audience here.

  • @centurion180ad I'm afraid, the country will blow the Debt Syndicate up first. I'm talking about a second American Revolution here.

  • @KATAERO1 I agree a revolution is taking place, in the minds of mankind.

This could lead to a renaissance, or it could lead to a dark age.

  • @centurion180ad Have you heard of the Great Tribulation? This might be it!

  • hey ,you guys vietnamese pilots are not that bad you know.

  • thats it ? why you wan't chek indonesian Air Force

  • Can anyone explain to me how a tiny poor Cambodian Military (without Air Force) is able to kick the crap out of a much bigger, better equipped Thai Military from Preah Vihear Temple all the way to Bangkok?

And how Thai people living along Cambodian border were recently made to live in refugee camps in their own country? Beat me!

  • @KATAERO Of course! Cambodia can attack Thailand easily. Cambodia has no good and expensive air forces, but Cambodia have more anti-air force missiles that are costed less and attacked effectively than Thailand use the air forces. Let say! Cambodia is very much experienced and professional in fighting. Thail military is like a new boxer, but never go up the stage. How strong Thail military is?

  • @toklaping1977 Cambodia dared to attack Thailand because it knew Thai politicians & generals would not dare to destroy their own investments in Cambodia. Corruption is what ruining Thailand, not Cambodia.

Cambodian SAMs are antique from Vietnam & who knows how many of them still work. SAMs are defensive weapon, while jets are both defensive & offensive one. So, other than shelling Thai border, Cambodia can't do anything else, while Thai jets can bomb Hun-Sen's house if they want to.

  • @toklaping1977 I agree with you that Thai Military may have forgotten how to fight a war as toppling Govts & doing business on the side have become its specialties. However, if Thai people become pissed enough, they could unleash Thailand's superior firepower (both qualitatively & quantitatively) and Cambodia will have a very bad day. But again, it must be extremely difficult for Thai generals to order the bombing of their casinos & other businesses. So far Cambodia's been fighting smart.

  • A very wise choice with a versatile consideration my Thai friends. Gripen is a wonderful fighter for your national requirements as it covers most of your country in combat range and radius as well as carries some of the most advanced systems.

Also Swedish make gives you independence in operating rather than being bound to what US has to say (despite the engine).

Hope to see more of these beautiful birds in your fighter fleet.

    With respect from India :-)

  • @111i1011 yep that's why i'm in favor for the Gripen to be the next PAF fighter :D

  • @111i011 lol our congress never listened to the generals....

  • @jmdarcega

your generals never listened properly to USAF trainers back in 1970s

and they never teach the amateur pilots adequately as USAF pilots say

so they end their amateur pilots having malfunctions and crashing the F-5s

and your congress never listened to your generals

and the president?? does (today) he listen or did your presidents

    listen properly to your congress??

its funny.. but this is not joke

  • @jmdarcega

If Philippines bought those F-16s back then.. they would just end

like trash today.. Thailand bought 30 of them in 1988.. and today

they still fly.. and will be replaced not until 2020.. because their generals

and new pilots work together.. unlike your generals

there are many videos here in youtube that show your inventory

those are crap.. S.211 is crap.. my country retired them already.

because theyre so old.. even F-16 would be obsolete by 2020.

  • @111i1011 F-16s would have little effect in fighting rebels running by groups of FOUR in the jungles....we need more choppers and recon planes....and FYI PAF pilots who fly combat sorties are not generals

  • @jmdarcega

Yes they were.. What I meant is.. when your Air Force bought those F-16s

in 1994.. today.. they would be the same scrap as your F-5s.

because your generals are surely stupid enough to even influence your

new pilots and they would just crash them. .

Those generals flew planes too.. the must have.. or else

why the fuck are they even airforce generals if they don't know fuck

about flying?. see what i mean?

  • @1bgunny nope, it's because the Philippine military has 'martial law' aura in it...so most Filipinos actually OPPOSE modernization because they think the AFP is still powerful....and have you heard of extra-judicial killings? that's why many don't want the PAF to have jets.

  • @jmdarcega Philippines will never have F-16s.. until 2011 because the politicians in the Philippines are scared that if Philippines bought the offered 36 F-16C back in 1994 The Generals will be flying them.. unfortunately the Generals don't want to look stupid and dumb so they keep telling the congress not to buy. We can just kill the rebels with 30 year old M-16.. and Helicopters well guess what?? the rebels are still on the rampage and yelling partaay!!! Philippines?? LMAO!
  • Philippines will never have F-16s until 2011

Philippines Generals are scared that if Philippines bought the offered 36 F-16C back in 1994 The Generals will be flying them.. unfortunately the Generals don't want to look stupid and dumb. coz actually they never listened to USAF pilots

when USAF was training them how to fly even just the F-5E

so they keep telling the congress not to buy..

    LMAO!!!!

  • Very impressive airforce..Thailand have great Political leaders. Philippine leaders all thieves, crooks. I envy your Equipments. our Airforce uses flying coffins.

  • ทีีฆายุโก หีตุ หมาราชินี

  • f-16 f-15 and f-18 are the best forever

  • Thailand is pretty safe. If Thailand is being attacked, 20 - 30 countries from around the world would come and defend for Thailand. Thailand has never made enemies in all of it's years. Thailand is a very valuable country, the earths jewel.

  • USAAIRPOWER: indonesia only have SU 27.. n malaysia have Su 30MKM..

  • we ordered the JAS gryphon maybe to replace those old F5-E Thailand has 1 small aircraft carrier India has loads....

Thailand doesn't need aircraft carriers... we only wanted to protect out country.

  • Those F-5 can still hurt, ask the Burmese. I had the chance of seeing them doing exercises when i was in Ubon Ratchathani last summer.

I agree Thailand doesn't need an aircraft carrier, but i'm very proud they have one, because so far they're the only one in east asia to have it, i really appreciate Thailand and Chakri Nareubet was made in my country.

  • @Chunbot882

No.. Thailand is the only country in SOUTH East Asia

    to have Aircraft Carrier..

    EAST ASIA?? JAPAN, TAIWAN, S.KOREA

    have Aircraft Carriers too..

  • @111i1011 South Korea and Japan have helicopter platforms, no fixed wing aircraft carriers. Nowadays Thailand is the ONLY in East Asia, while India would be the other one in the rest of the Asian continent.

  • @111i1011 Well, for some time the term EAST ASIA englobed the whole FAR EAST. But yes, with the advance of regionalization, nowadays people tend to use the term EAST ASIA for refering only to Japan, China, Taiwan and the Koreas, while south from that we're in Southeast Asia. So if you prefer it, what i'd say is that Thailand is the ONLY country in the far east to have fixed wing aircraft carriers (until now). Is that better for you?

  • @Chunbot882

Japan and S.Korea have.. its a secret.

  • @111i1011 and how do you know? haha... i don't believe they have and, in addition, how could they kepp that secret?

  • @Chunbot882

USA don't want N.Korea bitching.. so US want to equip its EA

allies with ACs so .. DPRKAF..NK airforce is obsolete but too many aircrafts

thousands of them so they need fast phase landing and take off

in short.. these two nations have ACs.. from US

in case of need.. technically they own.. but not active.

  • @111i1011 Uhmm, KOR might have more possibilities, as their army is quite good (i'd say better than Japan's nowadays). Japs have become very very soft since they lost WWII. Anyway, i hope those bastards in DPRK 's government can be sent to hell in the near future.

  • @Chunbot882

DPRKs officials must burn in hell.

And then those prisoners and gulag inmates must be freed

fed and be taught how live like a human..

    N.Korea must open up..

  • @111i1011 I'd actually tie the guards of the gulags and let the prisoners have them. But unfortunately, since many prisoners have been borned in the gulags and others have been turned into submisive beings, maybe they wouldn't know how to take proper revenge. The government of Pyongyang is an insult to humanity itself.

  • @111i1011

    因为欧美联军制裁, 所以北韩无法开放边境

  • @Chunbot882

Its not only better for me.. but thats rather proper and correct.

  • @111i1011 Yah, agree. Still, as i said, i was talking about the eastern half of the whole continent, not regionalizing at all.

  • India just has a 2nd hand French one, the Clemenceau. And now are working in developing their own. In the 70s they also had a former British aircraft carrier which was retired in the 90s. However, i agree that Thailand doesn't need an aircraft carrier... or at least, not as much as India.

  • @cRapyFoX JAS gryphon is a nice fighter,low cost 2

  • @hotrod4you2 low cost that beat f-15 and f-18 from USAF

    in exercise training at Sweden

  • @cRapyFoX i wish our corrupt officials here in the philippines know's that

  • Royal Thai Air Force had 12 JAS 39 C/D Gripen (future) & 62 F-16A/B Falcon. F-5E/F is being replaced by JAS 39 C/D Gripen. Also 15 F-5T is being upgraded with python 4. You know to make Royal Thai Air Force the most powerful air force in the region. They need to acquire American F-15SE Silent Eagle. You know Republic of Singapore Air Force need a partner nation air force. Malaysia & Indonesia air force had Su-30 Flanker C variants.

  • Proud to be friends with Thailand!!!

  • Biggest in south east Asia and only one of two (India and thailand) that have Aircraft carrier.

  • does india have carrier what is the name and why don't they have it on youtube

  • Why you can not find it in youtube? This is it. Vikrant (R11)

I think India not has only one aircraft carrier as Thailand but now has more than 2 and have the project with Russia to build it by them selves. Sorry if you think Thailand is only one country in Asia that has aircraft carrier.

  • they just have 1, a former french navy carrier, and are working on a second one ;)

  • Thailand is weak from the inside through corruptions. they really should spend more money fixing the inside instead of buying Aircraft carriers..

They wouldn't spend money on the south where they are killing 1-2 people everyday average. But then.... its the Thai government.... they are as understandable as a 4 years old. ;D

  • Agree there are many things to be improved, but the PULO has no future and still Thailand is among the bests of the ASEAN in almost every field. You should takea look at Vietnam or the Philippines to see what real and uncontrolled mass corruption is. Anyway, hope the Thai government changes soon as well.

  • lol I stopped hoping a couple of years ago...

unless we are fully democratic then we can do something about it xD

  • come on, better times will come!

  • Hope so ^^

  • Can you spell "India's aircraft carrier"? Search it again.

  • Basler Turbo BT-67, not 57.

  • i have heard they gonna replace those aircrafts with something

  • Thanks much for the information. With the new turboprop engine installed, hope those beautiful old ladies keep to fly for many years!

  • It's very cool to have flyable DC-3 Dakota in 21st Century! DC-3 is an amazing flying machine indeed. Are they still in service with Royal Thai Air Force and what are their roles in RTAF?? Thanks

  • The Royal Air Force should've had f-16s or 18s.

Politicians in the UK are a right bunch of cheap-skates...But of course when it comes to using taxpayers money to benefit themselves...Well that's a different matter.

  • So you think JAS-39 is better?

  • RTAF does have F16, that is the backbone of RTAF

  • The Royal Air Force, [Of the United Kingdom], should have bought the F-16 or F-18. They never had a decent fighter plane until the Typhoon came along. The Tornado just wasn't a dogfighter.

I don't know how the Saab JAS-39 Gripen compares to the F-16...But credit goes to the Swedes for buying a domestic product.

  • @TheDepotCat My friend, Gripen is an independent choice and a good one. It has never seen combat but so would have been the F-16 had it not been given a chance. Sweden is a neutral country and doesn't meddle in others' matters unlike US. I am friendly to West being neutral myself, but their intervention policies put off most Asian countries.

Gripen is a fighter that will keep enemies of Thailand at bay.

  • @Saffronwing1 I think you misunderstand my comment. It was about {The} Royal Air Force...The one operated out of the UK.

Sweden is neutral but it does have a small military combat presence in Afghanistan. That's one excuse Muslim immigrants use to cause all sorts of problems in places like Malmö. They were taken in by Sweden...{Originally no visa required}...and provided with housing, education, health-care and benefit payments etc etc, and then they go and bite the hand that feeds them..!!!

  • @Saffronwing1 Anyway, I think that the Gripen is a great looking plane and I'm glad that the RTAF has placed an order for some. It's best that the US dosn't get all the orders, and it's great to see other countries develop and build their own planes...Shame the UK dosn't do it on their own anymore. Well done Sweden.

  • i love F5 Freedom Fighter

  • nice

  • That is absolutely an F-5, taking off at the beginning of the video.

  • I miss our F-5s. (Phil. Air Force). RTAF donated their OV-10 to us.. THANX RTAF... The donated OV-10s are now used to neutralize stupid rebels in our country.... with the use of guns and heavy consecutive aerial bombings 500lbs bombs...

  • no problem lol, RTAF will alwayss help Air Force in asia. the 8 OV-10Cs wouldn't do us any good anyway so we gave it to u guys

  • yeah.. those planes are not useful for you guys because as far as I know, there are no insurgents in Thailand right?? the Philippine Air Force has modified the donated OV-10's from Rtaf and add some 20mm cannons and the paint-job now looks like an A-10 Thunderbolt. still, it is a piston engined plane.

  • OV-10 is turbine, not piston.

Wrong about insurgents too, Thailand has them in the south as well

  • oh??/ I never thought that Thailand has insurgent I thought Thailand has no political enemies. Sorry

  • Thailand has their own native Muslim insurgency in the south (why do muslim insurgents always pick the south???). They also have some current problems between "red shirts" and "yellow" shirts regarding their PM, elections...remember the airport being closed? That was yellow shirts. They won PM being replaces...which pissed off the red shirts, who just few days had such violent protests that state of emergency has been declared. Maybe little in way of external enimies, but internally ...

  • has become a bit "messy" recently. Very sad at that, Thai fighting each other makes me sad...land of smiles isnt so happy recently

  • hey Ive read your comment on my video, the song in my vid Phil. Air Force is about the martial law. Just like what is happening in Thailand no wherein there is a big movement to demolish the disturbing administration.the poor people are being abused and some thoughts like those. yah know... the typical anti government hymns.

  • Thanks

  • oh?? i see, also here in the Philippines, the insurgency is concentrated in the south but there are also the communist party in the northern part.. Yah I remember that scene, the airport event and about the shootings of the Thai soliders.

  • They still use DC-3?

  • We have some of them, BT-67, Re-manufactured Douglas DC-3 Dakota's. used for aerial firefighting, transport, and rain making. Based at 46th Wing, RTAFB Phitsanulok.

  • Those poor people attending to the F-5 at around 3mins of the vid. They dont have an ear plug. Damn thats gotta kill their ears man.

  • That's not an F-5

  • what is it then

  • its a trainer but i don't know what it is. But its not an F-5. an F-5 is a needle nosed jet...

  • its L39

  • The T-38 is a tandem seat "trainer" but that plane in the video is a single seated F-5..

  • 00:20 in this vid is the F-5

  • there is also a two seat version of F-5 known as the F-5B. we had F-5B's before. (Philippine Air Force)

  • Royal Thai Air Force: 1. (38) F-16A Falcon 2. (43) F-5A/B/E Fighting Falcon 3. (34) L-39ZA/ART 4. (12) JAS 39 Gripen Fighter: (127) 5. (19) Dassault-Breguet/Dornier Alpha Jet Ground/Attack: (19) RECON/SURVEY: (11) TRANPORT: (34) Fighter Aircraft Missies: AIM-9 Sidewinder, AIM-120, and Python 3!
  • I can guarantee you those uys in the last clip are going to be stone deaf. No ear protectors. I worked on engines on B-52's, KC-135's, F-4's, F-106's and T-33's. I always wore them and still lost some hearing.

  • gripen + eireye

the poor sukhois will not stand a chance, they will have a couple of meteors in their ass before they knew what hit them. the balance of power has truely changed

  • yeah, but who are "THEY"? the balance of power between Thailand....... and WHO?

  • k-4

  • @asia1mage I think he is referring to Vietnam. They are the only ones with Sukhois closest to Thailand. The other 2 countries using Sukhois are China and India both of who have excellent ties with Thailand.

  • @asia1mage "WHO?"= Either Malaysia or Vietnam, cos they usually had Su-30 sukhois in service.

  • ustawin if you look closely the aircraft tech is wearing ear plugs!

  • shudnt those guys directing/helping the blue aircraft takeoff be wearing ear muffs? shit thats pretty bad for your ears haha

  • In that war , against Laos , there are Russia and Veitnum soldiers who help Laos Army. Veitnum is used to beat US Army. Russia support both equippments and soldiers. How can thailand fight against three countries?? I think our army is the great in ASEAN.

  • Thai people like peace.Thai don't want war to Loas and Cambodia.Loas can't to attack Thailand.

  • @kingaom Cambodia can attack Thailand easily; because they are very professional and much experienced in war. The cambodian military is not like Laos as you think

  • @toklaping1977 I think laos military is stronger than cambodian.

  • The Gripen will be delivere in the next 3 year in the first trade quater other 6 gripen will be deliver in the following years

  • I have heard that the Grippens are buncha dirt-dart.

  • Yeah, and 6 of them will be delivered to RTAF immediately. IS there anyone know if those Gripens will show up in the airforce openhouse days next year?

  • hope u guys receive them soon, it will be great to see thai gripen & malaysian sukhoi in thamal exercise...

  • i heard rtaf going to buy 12 grippen...good day neighbour..

  • RTAF is one of the greatest airforce in the world, Eventhough our equipments is a little bit too old, but we got a very skillful pilot. During an exercise "Alsaka Red Flag" RTAF can lock on 7 aircraft, Meanwhile the American can did only 1

  • Really? do you have a reading on it? if so, link em plz.

  • Great.Got anymore?

  • Sadly, on my first and second trip I mostly took photos... @_@

  • Well, Im Thai-born so, I want to see some vids or RTAF.
