i think its the asteroid from back in 2003, it was twice the size of the biggest planet in our system, there were actually two of them one after another, the sun deflected both! you can look on NASAs website if you want further proof. It wasnt anounced to the press because a chunch of rock that size is quite literally several times larger than our earth

you could fit 1,000,000 earth sized planets inside the area of the sun, even if the meteor was twice the size of jupiter the sun would have eaten it like throwing a peice of saw dust into a bonfire, it would have been possible for this to affect the earth but the chance of that are like hitting a needle head with a molecule from a million miles away... thats my opinion anyway
