Baptist General Convention of Texas keeps a confidential file of ministers reported by churches for sexual abuse. When a church itself reports a minister and when the BGCT determined there was substantial evidence -- the minister’s name simply sits in a file and people in the pews are not warned. Stanley's church employed a pedophile ( almost 20 years!) & KNEW but DIDN'T INFORM PARENTS. Google the pedophiles name "Thomas Edward Gilmore" & stopbaptistpredators.dot ORG for full sickening story.

People have learned to skew biblical principle to suit their convictions and as a result have used the bible as a play book where the precepts we were expected to use as an offensive scheme are now pitted against those who disagree with sinful lifestyles in a defensive fashion.
We'll justify sin by pointing out other's sins as a means of diminishing our own, i.e., "I may have sinned, but your sin is greater."
Deference does not negate the sin anymore than deterrence absolves the sinner.

God help us! The only way a homosexual, or any other sinner for that matter, can make it to Heaven is by forsaking that sin. If a person has one willful sin in their heart at death, they will wake up in a devil's hell. God an sin don't mix.

My Friend you don't understand God. 21< God is loving and merciful. 2, one should be willing to leave the old life of sin. 3, I can't imagine any person facing death and eternity wasting their time hanging on to their pet sin. Do you? One gets right at that moment. Then, we should never bring God down to our level or understanding. He id faithful and just to forgive. But we must have a repentant attitude. Or else how are we saved. What have believed repented of and confessed?
