to fly good, just stay away from the floor, or either smoke a joint and fly...... seriously just give propper alttitude to do the movement you want to do, its try and learn, just think about real pilots train in simulator( a small comparison,yep) know when you can kill a enemy with your rockets or when you gonna hit the ground instead of killing the target. if you cant, let your gunner take it down the chopper its always better with 2 aboard.the more the fast you go the chopper acts like a plane

Do one for BF 3 I was a great pilot in BFBC2 and BFBC1 but in BF 3 I'm just hovering around slowly. Sure I get my kills but Cirlce strafe is pretty impossible for me now and hovering in the air like that is boring and makes me an easy target for RPGs and Soflams/Javelins.

I already know how to fly a helicopter very well in BFBC2. I use the normal controls, it's just what I learnt with.

A suggestion is to show them some evasive manoeuvres, like taking out an Anti Air gun while receiving fire from it.

By the way, What he says about switching your controls BRILLIANT!! I am a very good pilot, in fact I don't find many people as good as me (except for some level 50 guys who are just amazing) but anyways, switch your controls I just did onslaught for an hour with the controls switched and WOW did it make a difference. I feel I am like twice as good. BAD COMPANY 1 switch and learn the change, you won't regret it.

@skystruck13 might give it a try, and also call me a nolife annoying lvl 50 who raped enemies with the attack helo's haha, but i also like the original bc2 controls, just use both sticks for fast rotations and control your rockets (if you are a pilot)

For one you can use a tracer dart, shoot it at the heli till you get it right, then lock on with the rpg or cg and fire. My favorite way is to use the 3rd rocket launcher because it lets you guide the missle... I've shot down at least 100 helis with that launcher alone

@jagsdline1989 yeah but that rocket launcher doesnt use a tracer dart, it's just a homing rocket launcher. only the first 2 I believe can lock on to a tracer dart. You must be AMAZING at that rocket launcher because i can't for the life of me hit a heli with that rocket launcher unless its low or hovering. but a good pilot in a heli and that rocket is useless towards helis.

Or do it so yaw is controlled through the left joystick, and roll and pitch are controlled with the right then the throttle with LB AND RB or something. @irongut12345 They do have flares. In my second tutorial I covered using flares by uploading the Smoke perk. If you get hit by a tracer dart, deploying flares will kick the dart off your helicopter.
