  • @TheComradeRoss Stalin won the WW2, without a psycho like him, the allied would have lost the war,anf thus, no more communism.

  • he take off his shoes but he didn't make Vito he just Play with feelings the Egyption

  • the failure of socialism really highlights the selfish individualistic nature of people, which a capitalistic system can fully exploit and maximize,

  • @201003616W No it doesn't, it just highlights that putting all your resources into bombs and death machines will lead to failure.

  • @michaelwuzthere not if you sell all of your arms to third world countries! Go America!

  • Wow, these comments are like reading Reaganite tracts on the "truth" of what "really" happened in countries most of these people have never been to or known anyone from.

  • Socialism/communism would work if the leader wasn't power thirsty. This is hard to come by due to human nature.

I just wonder how things would have ended up if Lenin didn't die so young. I think Lenin would have been different because he never idolized himself. He was truly for comradeship, not for cult followers like Stalin. He didn't even want his death to be a big deal; just a small, private funeral.

  • @AminorArpeggio I agree, If Trotsky was to be the new leader of the Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics then i think that Socialism would still be here on a wide scale. Stalin Destroyed Socialism in the Soviet Union.

  • @TheComradeRoss oh yeah if Trotsky succeeded Lenin? Yeah, he would have been the better successor. But always "what if" about Lenin... :( he died way too early.

  • This guy had some balls and leadership but was one of the Commissar's in Stalin's army of thugs.

Oh and before that and was a mass murderer during the Stalin Purges of the 1930s...

  • @noobcrusher141 Absolutely correct! I worked as a Registered Nurse on psychiatric units in hospitals for 20 years and I saw people at all levels of functioning. No one works or makes effort unless they are rewarded for that effort. There is also the aspect of Liberty and Freedom. Unless people can keep what they earn and have property/ownership rights they are slaves to the government/rulers and have no Liberty or Freedom. Our Founding Fathers knew this and designed the Constitution accordingly.

  • BTW. Fact is the shoe he is pounding on is an American made shoe.

  • amen

  • they never caught up

  • No matter what system man tries to build will fail its doomed to start with because

man is corrupt and any system he makes is corrupt they only work as long as the

leadership of the system are honest and the people are honest and good when

they stop being honest and good then the system falls

  • @Denvermorgan2000 You are absolutely correct. That is one of the reasons that Jesus never said anything about trying to revolt against the political system of His day. One of Jesus messages was that if we work to change ourselves, the world will improve. There are some systems of government that are more prone to corruption than others such as Communism and Socialism that give all power to the government. Democracy and Free enterprise are the best if the business is limited by regulation.

  • @almagore1 Thanks for your comment :-)

  • @almagore1

Corruption has risen in Socialist Cuba, why? Cause they use ecenomical reforms that allows a few privatizing. Capitalism is poisonous and murderous. Would we be in Iraq and Afghanistan if it weren't Profitable? Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia to save the poor German in Czecho land. Mussolini occupied former Abyssinia to end the slavery over there. USA are fighting in the Middle east to build girl schools and democracy...

  • @KommunistenFrank I am 68 y/o and remember when Batista ruled Cuba and what happened when Castro took over. Castro was a tyrannical absolute dictator of the country. People may have had a hard time under Batista but they were more prosperous and had more freedom. Castro reduced the people to abject poverty with no rights at all. If Castro wanted you dead, soon you would be killed. Why do you think Cubans risked death on the ocean in primitive rafts to leave there? Because Castro took over!

  • @almagore1 idiot. the cubans didnt have a right to live! to survive is more important than liberty in press and election and that shitt. look at other countries before bashing at cuba!

  • When was this speech?

  • Socialism and Communism was designed to be a blissful and utopian society. And it would be. But finding a leader or leaders who will not use their power for their own ends is extremely hard.

  • @Trentest0 Not hard, impossible! Please see my previous posts.

  • Asshole

  • folks, thumbs me down if you want, but there is NOTHING wrong with socialism.

the only problems in the past examples of socialism (and communism for that matter) were the fact that they were too extreme and their leaders were corrupt.

  • @aaammmhg Socialism owns and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

  • @aaammmhg Name one good thing about communism? Socialism is the stepping stone system which ultimately leads to communism. You don't hear communists talking about communism before socialism is implemented. Socialism is the vehicle which makes communism possible. And you can quote Karl Marx for that.

  • @aaammmhg So, do you mean present socialist leaders are not corrupt?

  • @aaammmhg So, do you mean present socialist leaders are not corrupt?

Who? Apart from that, do you speak of original socialists and comunists, or about those all over who decided to follow "Scientific Socialism" invented by Carl Marx? A somehow instructed man but a little careless about Scientific method. Still by the end of 19th century and by begginning of 20th lots of authors had throw down his theory. Long before Lennin aplied it in Russia.

  • @aaammmhg That's the problem. Socialism can't work because it goes against the principles of human nature. The preservation of socialism can only be preceded by the oppression of the people it's being forced on, because while it sounds good in principle, nobody wants it.

  • @ZachJank thats why i say they were too extreme, if people would combine aspects of socialism and capitalism (and get over their issues with one system and the other), we would have a system that would work (better than before at least, but theres always room for improvement)

  • @aaammmhg Yeah, that's called China. It still didn't work out too well for the people.

  • @ZachJank but thats ALSO adding control freaks into the picture

  • @aaammmhg That's the point, bro. You can't maintain a socialist society WITHOUT the control freaks, because at the core of human nature, when it comes to true socialism, people aren't going to want it.

  • @ZachJank How can anyone question how prophetic Khruschev 's U.N. speech really was? Where is YOUR IPod or shoes, or XBox 360 made? Most likely in a socialist country, with help from greedy capitalists and many State Owned Enterprises. China is burying us.

  • @sgtwok Are you serious? The factory workers living under the Communist doctrines making those iPods, shoes, et cetera possess some of the poorest living standards in the world, have to work more than half of their lives away, and in the same breath you're trying to tell me that Communism is GOOD because capitalists like me don't have to pay as much, thanks to these people? That's some fucked up logic, dude.

  • @ACUTS07 No human or animal will work or make any effort unless they are rewarded for doing that. Your idea sounds nice but it won't work. I wonder, are you in school or do you live on your own and work for a living? I am 68 y/o and have worked since I was 14 y/o. You cannot have experienced the real work world where many do as little as they can possibly get away with and believe what you do.

  • @ZachJank Er, no.

  • @ZachJank

If Socialism went against human nature, it would not exist.

  • @MarxistHero It does not exist naturally. Humanity produced one man to create it, named Karl Marx, and then there were those who were inspired by him.

What does exist naturally is its decline and its problems.

  • @ZachJank and if people would read Hayek "Road to Serfdom" it would explain in well thought out terms why socialism does not and will not ever work ....as you said it goes against the human spirit of individual freedom to try to succeed.

  • @ZachJank The principles of human nature are to work together - is that not why we have civilization?

  • @GishabrunLOB We have civilization to guarantee rights and security amongst all people. People are willing to concede a little of their own to pay for the police, fire departments, roads, community services, et cetera.

People in general are not willing to concede to the government what they've worked hard for so someone else can prosper on their behalf. Working together for common goals isn't what communism represents; communism always results in fascism.

  • @ZachJank Lolwut

So you're saying that everyone wants to keep their stuff and not share anything? Maybe that describes you. Also, how can communism result in fascism if in communism there is no government? Communsim and Fascism are exact opposites. Just because you hate them both doesn't mean that they are the same. It's like me saying that America is Fascist just because I hate both.

  • @GishabrunLOB I didn't say that at all. I said people want to enjoy the fruits of their labor--if I want to work hard and make $150,000 a year, it doesn't mean I want to make $150,000 and keep it all to myself. Under the Soviet Union doctors earned one of the lowest salaries, but they still did it--because some people enjoy helping others. But that doesn't mean they didn't want to make more money. If true communism is the best for the people, then why has it never been created by the people?

  • @ZachJank

Right you are! Despite being "the People's government", Communism has NEVER been embraced by a wide populace. Show me a communist government and I'll show you a ruthless dictator-for-life with a horrible record of human rights abuse.

  • @aaammmhg the plan is good but the results are terrible so lets do it again? is that seriously the logic that got you 15 thumbs up?

  • @aaammmhg The biggest problem is that it fails to take into account the extent of human greed. You can't change human nature through politics.

  • @aaammmhg I,ll be glad to give you a thumbs down. but capitalizm is no better all of the worlds systems are doomed to fail.

  • @aaammmhg Actually ALL of the ideologies are complete bullshit. Every one of them condones greed, corruption, and abuse of power. We need a new system or we're just gonna keep killing each other.

  • @aaammmhg Great news- you got it buddy- you could have bailed for cuba or denmark but nope- you assholes and your 'isms' don't go and let everyone else be... no you have to take - from the happy, from the rich- your happiness is my job- but if I'm not happy your dope- I'll make so damn sure you aren't either- But- you did win-so good bye america - the sloths win. and what really sucks- we won't be able to come back in 10 years to ask... hows social-communism going? (no computers in slave camps)

  • @misselissisme Wow, really? I enjoy reading viable arguments and intriguing debates (I don't mind 'the world is doomed comments either, those are funny), but this…logic...fail...what...where the hell did you even get slave camps from? (And what makes you think I’m an American?)

  • @aaammmhg If you are not American that explains things. Keep your opinions about our country to yourself and try to change your own country. If you are not an American but live in this country; go home and good riddance.

  • @aaammmhg Ok, I gave you a thumbs down because I want to. ;)

  • @aaammmhg Don't forget the fact that nobody gives a fuck about one another.

  • @aaammmhg YES! it breaks my heart that the soviet union split

  • @aaammmhg There is nothing wrong with socialism in the "ideal". The problem is that we live in the real world. In the real world, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Socialism and Communism give too much power to the rulers and corruption is inevitable. Also, it is human nature to work for rewards, Socialism and Communism give no motivation for working. The other thing is that working for no rewards has a name, "Slavery"

  • @almagore1

You are right, power do corrupt. But who got the power in this free world? Is it the majority of the people that is working, that votes for puppet politicians or is it the minority of the people that is earning the money of the working people, which are the minority that chooses these puppet politicians? Money corrupts!

  • @aaammmhg And still, today, nothing has changed.

  • @Truth0rDeath

You say nothing has changed, still everything has changed. The Capitalists once again throws us into a financial crisis. People fills the streets protesting against the EU. Neo-Liberal politicians are over-thrown in North Africa. Wisconsin rise up for Union Rights. And you say, "nothing has changed". In Nepal The Communists won the election. In Venezuela Hugo Chavez is still the elected President. We are right now witnessing a rise of a new era. The Era of Anti-Imperialism!

  • @KommunistenFrank Yeah good luck with that komrade.

  • @aaammmhg Socialism as an "ideal" is fine but because of human nature and the deep psychological instinct to only make effort when we will be rewarded, Socialism doesn't work! The Socialist leaders in the past were corrupt because of 2 things. Communism and Socialism attract power hungry people to become leaders. Also, leaders of Socialist governments have so much power that anyone would become corrupt even if they started with the best intentions.

  • @almagore1

Your argument is invalid. Do you have any concrete source that can confirm that, for an example, Stalin, Lenin, Castro and other Socialist leaders were corrupt during their socialist era?

  • @aaammmhg HAHAHA!!! Always everyone else just did it wrong!!! LOL! kids.

  • @aaammmhg Yes, and that will always be the problem, because all politicians are corrupt douche bags. The only people who seek out power are like this. Nothing has changed, so socialism is fundamentally flawed, oh well.

  • @aaammmhg ill agree it sounds like a good idea but its just that the people in charge make it bad

  • @cenaman357 you can have democratic socialism.

  • @JackTheFlippinTipper yea but wen u try to explain it it gets alittle messy

  • @aaammmhg You say that "There is nothing wrong with with Socialism (and Communism for that matter) and that the only problem in the past was that was that the examples in history were too extreme and the leaders were corrupt. Of course that is true in the "ideal" which does not take into account what human nature is. Because of human nature, the reason people who want to be the ruler of a communist or Socialist country is to have power and because of their greed.

  • Respond to this video...Dear aaammhg, to continue my recent response to your post. A free enterprise system also breeds greed and corruption unless there are reasonable government controls to prevent that. Also employees need the right to unionize so that they have enough power to make fair contracts with their employer. Greed and corruption can ruin any system but the system in the USA was the best system in the world in the 1950's. It still is but less so due to changes by Liberals.

  • @aaammmhg What happens when people start depending 90% on the government for everything, and when things get more expensive, prices cuts for the people happen, people get less money and rioting like in Britain happens? I prefer the ability to make my own business if I want and not pay 85% taxes...

  • My high school history teacher demonstrated this in class!

  • Socialism is poison to individual rights

  • @smlonghorn Capitalism is poison to vast majority of human beings.

  • @Pignog420 Communism isn't much of an improvement!

  • @DarkMedievalTimes1 I didn't argue that Communism was better, I argued that Capitalism was destructive. Also, Socialism != Communism.

  • @Pignog420 Not those who work, earn money, and support themselves and their families. If Capitalism is so poisonous, why do 1/2 the people of the world try to come here? Some of the people come illegally across our Southern border and risk their lives crossing a desert to come to this country to participate in this "poison" called "Free Enterprise" or Capitalism.

  • @almagore1

Mexico has Capitalism and Free Enterprise, still they go to America. Your comment is invalid. The point is that in Mexico, the oppression of the workers is so great that even the military goes in and slaughters protesters and indiegnous population. Ever heard of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation. Did you also know that Mexicans are the only illegal immigrants? If you flee from Cuba you get rewarded with ID badges and money. Now that is sick...

  • @almagore1 The vast majority of the world's population lives off very little pay working in runaway factories, producing consumer goods for the United States. Do these people not work hard? Arguably they work far harder and longer than any other class, yet they enjoy a very low standard of living under Capitalism. The environmental impact of harvesting raw materials and running these plants all around the world is also often ignored. My point still stands that Capitalism is very destructive.

  • Many people parrot the mass media and say how true Socialism & Communism are great ideas, but can't be realized. We forget that during the times of Feudalism, the same was said about Capitalism;yet Capitalism came to be. People talk about Hitler & Stalin; yet US imperialism has killed more people in this last war in Iraq than Hitler & Stalin have killed in total.3,000 people officially starve in the state of NJ alone. So much for Capitalism. The excesses of US CEOs make Stalin look good.

  • @LadyRavenhaire You need to learn your history. World war 2, started by Hitler and Japan caused the death of 20 million people. There never were close to 20 million people in Iraq. Stalin murdered 20 million people in the Soviet union and Khrushchev killed 17 million by starvation in the Ukraine. I don't know about New Jersey but in Minnesota, no one dies for lack of food unless by choice. I can't believe NJ is that different.

  • @almagore1

Actually... Documents from the Soviet Archive shows that it never died nearly 20 million people in the Gulag. Soviet Archive shows that at the highest population of the Soviet Prison system were at 3 million, meanwhile when USA peaked the highest, there were 5 millions behind bars...

And I've never heard of Khrushchev killed 17 million by starvation in the Ukraine, are you perhaps speaking of Holodomor, which happened 25 years before Khrushchev took seat as the General Secretary.

  • @KommunistenFrank I'm only repeating what I read in history books. I knew a Ukrainian young man when I was in high school who corroborated the 17 million starved in the Ukraine ( he had pamphlets which called Khrushchev "The butcher of the Ukraine" Khrushchev was in charge of the Ukraine and ordered all of the crops to be shipped out with a promise that he would replace the food from some place else. That never happened and no one had any food over the winter. 17 million starved to death.

  • @almagore1 How could 38 million have died in Russia? There wouldn’t a population left. Russia suffered high casualities from WWI 2 WWII.As 2 the Ukraine:The US wouldn’t ship machinery&arms,except4 grain.Russia wanted 2 trade in gold, but the US said no.Stalin was between a rock&a hard place with threats from the West&Nazi Germany. In fact, during the same period 3-9 million people starved 2 death in the US (remember the dust bowl)because the US policy was2 burn crops2 keep wheat prices stable(high

  • @almagore1 1st,over 20 million did live in Iraq.2nd it was a typo,I meant2 say the US has killed well over the Nazi figures of 20 million in wars of aggression. For example, 8 million in the Congos,800,000 each in the Phillipines,Nagasaki,Hiroshima,2 million each in Iraq, Vietnam, Korea.Let's not forget Afganistan, Sudan,Mexico&even the Soviet Union in its early years;&the list goes on.The problem with Germany was they wanted the same thing we wanted&it wasn't ok with US; namely world domination

  • @almagore1 Lastly, no one starves 2 death by choice.Do you know everyone in your state? How can you make such a blanket statement?Officially 1 in 8 people are hungry in NJ& 1 in 11 in Minnesota. Who knows how many r unofficially. I work 4 the US Dept of Commerce. In Minnesota, 380,000 people (7.1%) are hungry or at risk of hunger. 1/4 of a million Minnesotans use food stamps, but only 69% of those eligible (based on poverty level) received benefits, which translate to many are starving.

  • when is he doing it, cause its funny

  • and we'll go f...?

  • He licked Stalin`s ass, and started talking when he died. Truly - A hero....

  • Communism is not a big brother thing or whatever Americans think it is , Communism is a Utopia, But it does not work. And he did not say we will bury you , NATO was threatening Russia , HE said I will show you who is the boss !!! we eat your Missiles for breakfast!! in real translation he said I will show you Akuskinos mother which means il show you soooooooo, oh and one more thing he did ALOT to keep us from killing each other

  • The one massive flaw in Socialism and Communism, is that there is no check and balance to control one individual (Stalin) from becoming a facist dictator. And that is a gigantic flaw.

  • @spactick

you dont have any clue what socialism and communism is, do you?

  • @Russolini1 I know enough to see what it did to my family in Germany during WW11. And enough to see and hear what Stalin did to my friends families in the former Soviet Union. So you can say I'm somewhat nieve, but not so nieve to allow a fucking dictator like Hitler or Stalin to gain utter control over your lives. Only the little bookworms who've never lived a day in reality would pick a form of government that won't even allow you to pray in your religion of choice.

  • This is not at the UN, it's from his 1959 visit to the US. Before meeting with Eisenhower at Camp David he went on a ten day tour of the States. This exchange is from his lunch at 20th Century Fox in LA where he met Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe amongst others. Sadly for him he was not allowed to go to Disneyland.

  • так им, дедушка Хрущев

Fuck this american pigs, glory to the Russia

  • Im the Prime-minister of great Soviet state (and on background "hahahahahhahaha") LMAO !!!

  • Krushchev was a bastard.

  • Long live to URSS!

  • Long live Khrushchev Hail to socialism and the Communism

  • The gulag history are only one of the dirt lies of capitalism propaganda. if propaganda become impartial i'll believe

  • @crislsd gulag history has been impartial ever since the release of secret KGB files back in the 90's...its not 'capatalist propaganda'.

  • Long live khurschev, the leader who helped egypt while all countries didn't.

  • @mohablan

Th U.S. helped too--first actually--but we got no credit. look it up.

  • @cheesefacethepetty

i agree with you, the U.S. started ot help egypt when Ronald Reagan rose to power in the U.S., at that time, the soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev refused to help egypt because egypt didn't continue the war of 1973 and when president Eisenhower warned england and france that a state of war will occur unless they withdraw form suez canal in 1956 and still helping egypt now. sorry, if i forgot or if you misunderstood me but long live any nation that helped egypt.

  • Another time at the UN, he banged his shoe on the table, and made himself look like an idiot.

  • he is an idiot

  • oh and i suppose george bush is a genius

  • it not tru!!!!!!

  • You surpassed ur age old ass man wheres soviet russia today o ya lol DEAD :)

  • Stalin is the Georgian.... how he could be the fascist?

  • Wish he Denounced Stalin earlier !

Long Live Socialism but death to Fascist Stalin!

  • was it fuck stalin

the workers and army fought and died for wanting to regroup and fight stronger. But stalin ordered the generals to shoot his own men !

  • Stalin was a man who admired Hitler. Stalin was the man who destroyed Socialism, Stalin was a Fascist who ran a state Capitalist Nation, Khrushchev knew this and denounced Stalin, unfortunately it was to late and the USSR was soon to self explode.

  • @TheComradeRoss The only thing Hitler, and Stalin destroyed were millions of lives. As for the ideology (evil) that drove them to do as they did. They did it exactly the way the progenitors of communism wrote about. Sure there are differences in how these monsters implemented the things they did, different names, different techniques (not by much), but all have the same dreadful end as intended with the unfit or unwilling being destroyed. Socialism is the light form of it, same end ulitmately

  • @inkmage80 People turn every system into a bastardized version of an ideal. If you think that current capitalist system works the way most proponents of capitalism claim you're extremely naive. It's now completely broken and only serves the interests of a small elite, so ironically in reality it ended up being very similar to what socialism in the USSR produced. The current economical system in the US is a sham that is only still standing on sheer belief.

  • @ranndino No I am not naive as I do not believe Capitalism is perfect without faults. Because I know that man is imperfect, there are many people out there who are corrupt, dishonest, and yes even evil. However it is easier for people like this to thrive in the other systems, making it quite difficult for someone else to put a change (maybe for the better) in place, which is why I'd take Capitalism any day over Socialism, which over time does nothing but weaken the people, and the country.

  • @inkmage80 Just so that you don't misinterpret what I said I'm not a fan of socialism. My point was simply that regardless of the system of government the result is the same. A small, corrupt elite that controls almost all of the capital, tools or production and resources. The only difference is in the ideology that this small elite uses to brainwash the masses into thinking that everyone has a fair shake and that someday they can be part of the elite only if they work hard and don't complain.

  • @TheComradeRoss I lol'd, Ross. Just lol'd.

  • Krushchev was also known to supply too long lists of people to be shot. Stalin gave him friendly "cool off" advices.

  • So did Hitler! He was down in his bunker denouncing the Generals & German people in general for being weak (which is why they were losing the war). He said to kill all the Germans, not like "a hollow victory" manner but in "they make me sick, they don't deserve to live" way.

  • I gave you a thumbs up b/c I see your comment as sarcastic. Of COURSE he would put Western Wanna-Be Fascists down..HE wanted to be HEAD RULER (read fascist). I'm cool with your statement on a witty, sarcastic manner. But if it comes from a personal place within you, then I hope you study more history & politics of the 1930-present to really get a perspective on Stalin in a global & humanitarian point of view.

PM me. We could have a good dialog.

  • Too bad they didn't. Stalin was one of the most evil men ever to set foot on this earth. It's a shame how many are clueless as to how many more people Stalin condemned to death than Hitler could've ever dreamed of.

  • Stalin was one of the most evil men? Western Europeans literally enslaved the entire Globe forcing it to labor in the most inhuman conditions ever known to mankind. How many people died as the result of Western imperialism? Has anyone ever even bothered counting? Yet every snob in the West knows perfectly well how many people died as the result of Communist dictatorship.

Do you really expect someone to take your purely hypocritical idiotic ramble regarding Stalin's "unethical" ruling seriously?

  • Yes, I do expect it to be taken seriously. I love how anything the West did was considered to be imperialistic, yet the spread of communism was considered morally sound. In 1938, an embroidery shop operator was arrested and given 10 years imprisonment under Article 58 for accidentally putting a pin through Stalin's head on a newspaper on a bulletin board. She died in a labor camp 2 years later. Read Solzhenitsyn for more accounts of a wonderful communist society.

  • I read Solzhenitcin and many other anti-soviet writers and never did I disagree on the idea of Communist regime being anti-social, rather than "socialist". Yet what I don't understand is how Western snobs, that are responsible for not just occupying certain parts of Eastern/Western Europe as well as parts of Asia, but the entire Globe, and having as the result not ~ 50 million dead, but rather hundreds and hundreds of millions dead, can have a nerve to open their mouth and call someone "evil".

  • Your argument still doesn't make sense. The Soviets and the Chinese, together, killed just over 100,000,000 of their own. This doesn't add into democide by current communist states (including China).

  • pplayer is not making an arguement, merely spouting neo-Stalinist bovine scathological material. It is clear this person never lived in the nightmare that was the Soviet police state. Equals? Most were given equal access to meager existence at best. Almost everyone was equally subject to arrest and all except those feudal lords like Party members were subject to continual surveillance and microscopic examination. Never mind the equal opportunity of painful death at the hands of the "State".

  • yes you wouldn't like to live in the soviet union of the 30s, 40s and early 50s. the 60s were completely different. did you know that the government started building housing for everybody and handing it out for free. education and health care were free as well. my entire family lived in the soviet union in the 60s, 70s and 80s and from what they tell me, it was a hell of a lot better than the shit right now with "democracy" and "free trade"

  • I think it's a lot more than 100 mil

  • stalin did kill as much as 20 million of his own people, no doubt he was a crazy psychopath, but don't forget the thousands of slaves brought over to the usa and how black people were segregated long after the banning of slavery

  • Is that how far you had to reach to compare the USA to the Soviets? Go back that far, and every European nation had at least one colony that utilized slave labor.

  • the soviet union never had any slave colonies as far as i know

  • The Gulag system was one big slave colony.

  • @t239 That was for keeping prisoners of war, who desevred to be there

  • yes, youre right, gulags were more like prisons only more brutal than they should be.

  • Don't tell me western governements didn't throw people into jail for political reasons

  • @alexkvaskov

of course we do & by the hundreds. Mumia & Leonard Pellietier are 2 of the most famous that are still currently in jail. I remember as a child in the '70's watching the news as government agents broke into the homes of Black Panther members & even murdered children. Why the Black Panthers, because they didn't want the CIA peddling drugs in their neighborhoods&kids. The CIA in fact, destroyed Paul Robeson.Had him electrically shocked in a mental institution until they destroyed him.

  • Stalin saved your ass stupid american damn!

  • @RussianMan13 you're calling me an american?!

    сука хренов! я русский насквозь!

и сталин очень сильно ослабил страну до войны

  • @alexkvaskov May I remind you, comrade, of Harper's Ferry, Bleeding Kansas, Antietam, Gettysburg and The Liberator?

  • Comment removed

  • And to compare Soviet Imperialism to Western Imperialism is like comparing surgical knife to a Gun. The Vast Majority of Soviet republics only benefitted off of being part of such a Super-Power, ending up with a vast percentage of the population being politically as well as culturally educated. Russian language has never been imposed as means of enslaving the minds and depriving them off of their culture, but rather the means to have the entire Soviet state be able to communicate.

  • In the Communist States there was no "superior" class, culture, ethnicity nor race. Everyone was morally, financially and ideologically equal, I'll repeat it - Everyone was Equal to the system, no matter how inhumane and "unjust" the conditions of living were.

"Yes, I do expect it to be taken seriously" - You have no moral grounds to speak against Communist dictatorship as the State you're from is anti-human at its very core.

  • Yes, there was a superior class. It was called the Politburo and whoever could get his hands on a government position. This is also shown in modern North Korea, where government employees and military are the only ones paid and fed. As for those who didn't like it, there was the Gulag system waiting for them. The state I live in gives me the right to private property, free speech, and the right to work and keep my earnings. Not sure how that is so anti-human.

  • "As for those who didn't like it" -To expect to get paid plenty in communist society is equal to be expecting society to be taking care of your needs in the capitalist society. Meaning it won't happen. Altruism vs egoism

The fact remains the same, you have no moral grounds to stand on to talk about victims of the communist regimes. Capitalism has committed far worse atrocities to the mankind than communism ever could. The nations of slave-owners, greedy, self-profiteering scum of the Earth.

  • All I can do is put my palm to my face when reading your responses.

  • Move your palm towards your keyboard and type something that would make at least a bit of sense in defense of capitalism against communism. So far you've made your self look like nothing else other than a mere immoral hypocrite, therefore whatever.

  • No matter how well people were payed on the governmental positions, the fact is people never had their own property. Everything was governmental and could be confiscated at any given moment.

After Stalin's death, the only thing left as the property of his own was the shirt on his breathless body.

No human exploitation for the sake of special private interests, no monopolies, etc.

  • @pplayer666

And what do people own in the US? The houses they live in. In Russia, your apt belongs to you. In the US, you may own your home, but the land yo lease from the government & anytime the government or special interests want your home & land, they just raise your taxes. That's right, taxes is just a fancy word for leasing. Because if you don't pay your "taxes" they take your home away as quick as a car dealer take your car if you don't pay the lease on it.

  • @LadyRavenhaire What do you have as an education? Did you stop in the 6th grade? Silly stuff. My taxes are taken for schools, roads, bridges, etc. Very likely you do not pay any. I have owned my home 14 years, and most Americans (except the ones who recently lost their jobs or signed up for a really risky mortgage), have owned their homes even longer, or have owned a number of them. Take a hike to Russia.

  • @bonnieallmine

I have an MA&work4 the US Dept of Commerce. And Yes, I pay taxes!U say I should take a hike.Maybe that's what u need2 do instead. If u did, u would know that in Italy &other eastern countries, they don't pay property taxes, aka land rental use. When u own a home there,u own it the land it in which it belongs. Here u own the home, but rent the land.Just like if u don't make payments on ur car, they will take ur home away,2.US tax rate is 46%;higher than Sweden, yet we have no healthcare

  • @bonnieallmine Communism also implements a heavy progessive tax.

  • @DarkMedievalTimes1 How the sytem w/o money can have tax?

  • @MacIn173 What the hell are you talking about?
