I haven't watched Ugly Betty in its entirety since the last episode Gio appeared in...and I still refuse to watch it...I hope he comes back for the finale...hell if they bought annoying Henry back, they could bring Gio back! *keeps fingers crossed*

She should have gone to Rome (it was obvious choice) writers just messed that up. And even if she hadn't gone there they should have kept Gio coming to her life and help her and banter with her and make her laugh the way he always does. The show has been downhill since his departure.

seriously...Gio has to come back...compared to the other seasons, 2 is the best because of him...i mean who doesn't lpve them together...matt is such an asshole, henry was the wrong choice WAY at the beginning...barely saw anything with jesse...gio is the BEST for her...u know what they should do? gio returns, she forgets about every one of her guys and marries him...thats a PERFECT ending for the series =))))

exactly, would be perfect ending. I have no idea why Silvio Horta is so obsessed with the other love interests when this one was the best and had so much marketing potential. It just proves those producers are amateurs.

I wouldn't mind if she marries Gio i would have loved that she just keeps going her career life and Gio stands by her like a friend, like a lover and like the potential man who would be married to her. They both have dreams, courage, positive values and are loyal.

seriously what happend to ugly betty. for example in season 3 they first had that self absorbed guy jesse. then they got whinny Matt who needs to man up but doesn't. not mention stupid henry coming back at the end of the season. and now there is ridiculous love triangle of matt,betty and amanda. i mean what are the writers thinking.

I don't like the show purely for the romance but if they keep including all these dull characters (and not just Matt and that guitar boy from across the hall but Molly as well) I may just give up and watch season 2 over and over. Definitely. it is one of my favorite favorite looks. it melts me everytime. He knows what she needs, he always gives it to her. He wants to please her in every way possible. Like he says in the finale "whatever you want". So... why on earth isn't Gio in the show?=!?!?!? why do we have to keep seeing Betty falling for selfish or undeserving guys who treat her badly? it's like she's teaching young girls to fall for the wrong guys because... it's cool to be abused.

Well there are 12 different writers and they are assigned different episodes. But "The Guy" line (which is like the ULTIMATE romantic phrase ever) was written by the amazingly talented Brian Tanen. So far he had written 3 episodes in the whole show and all have been GOOD! He is a pure genius, I tell you. This episode is incredible, not only because of Gio but the rest of the characters were all balanced and dialgue is witty and fun. :D

Honestly, I really don't know. But well, they do have a fansite called "the Bachelor and the Butterfly" I could give you the address of one of its members so you may ask him. But seeing now that in season 3 Betty has a butterfly as her power-insect it suits them better than ever. :) Probably a Detty would check this thread and answer it. I am also curious.
