  • Mmmmm, very nice. Great stuff bro!

  • Tastey!

  • nice!!!!!!!

  • Sounds like a ballad version of Take the A Train.

  • Nice work. Immaculate use of the loop, really seamless. Nice job. BTW is this kind of Jazz considered Bossa Nova?

  • Nice work. Immaculate use of the loop, really seamless. Nice job.

  • I left a comment on your playing and the Seagull S6(on another of your videos) and when I checked for one of my favorite electrics, the ES 339, again you show up with some great technique and a tasty selection of tunes, so I had to subscribe to your channel. Thanks man, keep it up.

  • Nice jazzy tone. Did you use a amp or a DI. Did you use your tone knop is he totally on 10??

  • nice sound. I love that finish too!

  • easy does it

  • Hi !

Very nice style, I also play this kind of bossa-jazz ! I'm looking for a semi hollow body and I found some month ago the ES 339.

Could you tell me how it is ? I'm gonna try it next week in Paris and I wan't some informations about it =)

Thanks for advance and congratulations again !

  • Hi(gh) Man!

WOW - simple, tasty, effectiv and groovy just like bread, salt and butter !!

I would give this video as a kind of medical therapy to all those 'shredders' on youtube!

    FINE MUSIC! GREAT! THANK YOU!

  • @notpopebuthope so true! there's nothing worse than seeing someone play neo-classical shred guitar =(

  • brings a smile

  • Very nice playing!

For Jazz, do you prefer 339 to a larger body semi hollow like a 335?

    Thanks

  • For jazz, I prefer a full big box hollowbody like a 175 or my Tal Farlow.

I chose the 339 other the 335 because I wanted a light "do-it-all" gibson humbucking gibson guitar. And the 339 neck is my favorite neck ever: it's not available on any 335.

  • hey, I'm about to buy an jazzbox.. so, what you think? tal farlow (2000) or es 175 (2005)?

both in great conditions, and I can't try them out, 'cause I'm in serbia, and I'm ordering them..

    so what do you think?

    thanks

  • They're 2 different guitars really: different size (17 inch vs 16 inch), different scale length, different necks...

I guess if you can't try tem, a 175 is a safe bet, easy to sell, and a bit easier to play

  • hmmm thanks for the fast response.. :)

and the sound? which one do you prefer?

  • I like both!

To me the construction and the finish of the Tal Farlow is better than the 175, it's a fancier guitar. But I'd be happy with both.

  • hahah.. and the sound? :) I need it to be "one-note-jazz" guitar.. just to pick an open string

and yeah, which freatboard is better? I really liked les paul customs playability (and it's rosewood, if Im not mistaken),,

sorry if Im bothering you... :/

    thanks

  • They are 2 great guitars. One isn't "better" than the other.

I guess you have to try for yourself and see what *you* like the most.

  • ok, like I figured... thanks

  • great gig man! what chords do you play? Im learning to play jazz guitar.. :)

  • Here's my quick take on the chords: Ebmaj7, E9, Fm9, Bb13 Ebmaj7, Emaj7, Fmaj7, Emaj7, Ebmaj7 Ebmaj7, E9, Fm9, Bb13 Ebmaj7, Emaj7, Fmaj7, Gbmaj7, Gmaj7 Gmaj7, Gm7, C7 Fmaj7, Fm7, Bb7 EbMaj7, E9, Fm9, Bb13 Eb69, E69, D69, Eb69 E69, D69, Eb69 ...
  • thanks man...

  • Very nice chords. Nice guitar. It looks like this ES-339 is with the FAT NECK option right? I have the Cherry Flamed one and the neck on mine is a lot narrower 30/60. Keep posting you're great.

  • girl from ipanema is the song i think ;-)

  • Thanks!

The neck on mine is the 30/60

  • Very nice!

  • je reconnais ta fluidité et ton placement impec comme dans nos jams

    bravo jeanmi

    talou

  • Un plaisir pour les oreilles et les yeux!
