I saw them in Warragul Vic in 1996 then in 2003 at Tumut NSW both times they were excellent! They are almost forgotten now however their recordings are pristine! Go the Bushwackers!
We used to see them at Port Fairy Folk Festival (Them and The Cobbers!) and danced like lunatics. Last time I saw them, up until last year at PFFF, was at Geelong Performing Arts Centre about 20 years ago.
A flood of nostagia overcame me at Portarlington when then called a bush dance in one of the venues. Ahh, those were the days!
Ah those big dances at Sydney Town Hall in the eighties. I loved them then and I still do. Wish you would come back, guys. I would take my kids xxx

And the huge performances at the Birkenhead Point Barn in the mid 70's. Dobe, Roger plus Freddy Staulks on the skins.
