Fantastic Miklos Rozsa. No-one quite like him, and you did a great job there. Your interpretation gives it somehow an English V-W feel which is another not much talked about aspect of Miklos Rozsa.
Fantastic! I've started to love viola last year, because I think it's more versatile than violin or cello. Besides, there are very few classical viola solos on Youtube...
dude what school are you attending I am in utah. how difficult is the rosza concerto I am finishing up the weber-primrose andante and hungarian rondo.
Oh wow! That was absolutely beautiful. And your viola sounds fantastic in that room. What a fantastic piece. 5/5 from me. Have you ever played the walton? I'd love to hear your interpration of it.
Very nice, but your tempos, in general, are too slow. The nostalgia is good, but over the course of the entire concerto will begin to sound tedious. Of course it does make the bottom of the first page/top of the second page a bit of a nightmare, but also much more effective! Maybe I should just record it...
Really nice. I've never heard this piece before, but I know some of Rosza's film score music and it's great. I like how well your upper register speaks. It's very clear and played with confidence. Those double stops are always tough lol Good job!
amazing sound, btw, eehhh, what exacty do use use for your shoulder rest... is that a homemade contraption?

is that the Miklos Rozsa who wrote the "Ben Hur" film score? Sounds great even without orchestra!

@JillVic The very same. 100 film scores and 50 SERIOUS works, many in sonata form.
