NASA has a program where photos are altered, so this is normal for them. Sometime they cut out a piece of paper to lay over a are they don't want us to see. Other times the use a pen to black it out.

If you investigate and ask questions, you'll see the truth, like why does nasa airbrush their Pictures and only release less than 2% of them.. whats even more interesting the pic at 3:54 if you look at the part of the moon that is lit up, there are black dots, all of the same size that are not craters! go to the web site and blow up that pic. if you start from the left bottom white areas, go up to the third area of white fungus or whatever, then go straight over to the right and you will see them.

The image was obviously messed around with and not by NASA. Some consipratard more than likely. There are no intelligently made structures on the moon other than what the Apollo astronauts left behind. Seems some of you people skipped science class in school....

@krsnakris I dont doubt what you say one bit, however.. the image he is showing does not have that earth light. Or lets say it dont have "enough" of it to enhance the picture any more.. Its also obvious the image was tampered with before going on a cd so for all we know, that image could of showed more. On the images I have, there is a whole lot more :-)

Why does every anomaly instantly get labelled 'UFO' 'Alien craft' etc. etc. If they look like giant mushrooms maybe they are giant mushrooms. Why not? Jules Verne's Journey to the moon mentions giant mushrooms there, maybe the truth is stranger than fiction.

Good find on the smudges on the dark side. But keep in mind just making the image brighter is not adding light to the surface. Your just making the picture lighter. Those mushrooms things are very interesting though. Thanx man!

@EminentDisclosure There should be something visible by brightening the image if the Earth is reflecting it's light there as well as receiving a far greater amount of light from the Sun, just the way we get moonlit nights the Moon gets Earthlit areas. Depends what the positioning is though.
