Yup, I like the Portuguese version better, from the album "Un Hombre Solo" UK edition, not the Spanish one. I even heard it in my dream! The music is typically American contemporary but somehow blends very well with Portuguese syllables, conjuring up visions of conquistadors discovering America the continent, instead of the song being just about the US.

@publiberica hola! la cancion que dices es America en un concierto en Buenos Aires en 1990. Yo tengo el video que se llama Julio iglesias en America 1990. La cancion es magnifica pero no he podido encontrarla en español en ningun otro lugar. ¿Sabes donde puedo descargarla o algo?Llevo muchos años intentando tenerla pero no la encuentro y te lo agradeceria muchisimo si pudieras ayudarme

I don't think the English version is in any album. There's an Italian version in the CD TUTTO L'AMORE CHE TI MANCA. It's beautiful hommage to the United States of America.
