Interesting...I totally forgot that the cat mummies blew up! I wonder why they didn't carry that over into Anniversary? Or why they even bothered to make it that way in this game...man, those things STILL freak me out, evern after all these years!

U have 5 rooms running of the first room u enter, u then have 5 main rooms running of the obelisk each intertwining with the other, u also have an underwater tunnel running UNDERNEATH the obelisk which connects to level 10. Game design at its finest and another good run. I salute you for the time and energy u put into my 2nd fav game eva!!!

nice, I was thinking of doing one on this level after seeing the atrocious speeddemos run, but that was almost perfect. One thing that could save a few secs is if you safety drop glitch do the 2nd switch as opposed to jumping to the step then jumping back. just a thought.
Loved the curved jump out of the 3rd switch room though, I'm crap at them :)
I haven't played for awile, but looking at the video I'm not sure that's possible as the block might be too far away. The curved jump is by far the hardest part of this level.
It's played on a radeon 9600 card with the "DGVoodoo" glide wrapper. I wanted to stay faithful to the original to ensure it could be verified fine, but this is the only way I could play and record at the same time.
I played this level recently, so for once I could remember where you were going in one of these speed runs! How you did it all, though, was awesome, as usual! Great way to cut across the bridges, and down to the right ledge in the mummy/pillars room. Damn you, you know everything about this game! You just jump right around entire walls, the shortcuts you find are so clever. Fabulous!

Dude it's called a SPEEDRUN. The faster the better, not a 100% run. Those are way too easy.

Well, it looks pretty damn accurate, down the the white frame boxes around the guns when you fire. That's why I thought it was really on a voodoo.
