I got frostbite in January of 2010, on the bottoms of my feet. I was lucky, I was only outside for about ten minutes. I didn't lose any toes, but I did spend several days in the hospital, and lost about 95% of the skin on the bottom of my left foot, and 65% of the skin on the bottom of my right foot. they had to cut the blisters off, and they were easily swollen four inches out from normal. They cut all the way down to the nerve tissue.

Frostbite is no joking matter. Please, be careful.

This shit program is nothing compared to driving in Norway! High cliffs, very small roads, bigger trucks, and most certenly death if you fall off a cliff. You can watch and entire episode and all they are saying how amazing they are and what danger it is driving in Alaska. But all i can hear is those americans saying HEY LOOK AT ME IM A PATRIOT.. This program is a fucking joke! Do a program about driving in Norway during the winther and Summer and you will see what hell it is!

The likelyhood of being frostbitten in your cab, NEXT to impossible. When was the last time you worked in Alaska? I DO 52 weeks a year,I am an equipment opperator, and truck driver. I HAVE FROSTBITTEN ALL OF MY FINGERS, MY CHEEKS, AND MY NOSE. What kind of rig you run? so called trucker?

@akfreightopp havn't had to deal with - 50 for about ten years now. I don't miss it thanks. couldn't shut the truck off or it stayed off. heat tape on the propane tank on the house or it froze. the funny thing was I was listening to some guy on the radio telling me about global warming.
