This isn't a very good ad. It shows too much gaming (BAD games) that people generally don't play on their mobiles. People only have the attention span for the type of games like Angry Birds on mobile devices and most people in the world who obsess over phones don't give a damn about XBox Live(Who is this aimed at? Poor college students?). Marketing is completely wrong here. Know your market.

Wp7 needs native app compatability! I love wp7 but there are some glaring limitations on the developer's side.. Support for native apps and more customization and wp7 is supreme. I hate accidently hitting the search button and bing pops up. Bing sucks and I don't want a shortcut to it! Let me set that button to toggling my flashlight!  Alas, wp7 IDE doesn't allow you to control the camera or flash!

The only bad thing about the ad is the pace of the applications being run, They simply don't match up with the pace of the song at times, and make the ad seem sluggish and slow. Fix the pre-broadcast and I think it will work well.

@RobYungTV Actually the phone is pretty responsive and I would dare to say it's as good if not better than the iPhone 4. Comparison to Android is useless because the OS is laggy even on the newest hardware out there.

The phone looks a bit slow because he used the phone emulator to create the ad and not a real phone.

Brandon's first WP7 video, "We Love Windows Phone", was pretty cool. But, as a product ad, this one is *much* better. Great job, Brandon.

Only concern I'd have is that, while the music was very aptly chosen for the MIX11 conference, I'm not so sure that the same music would play *as* well in a general audience TV ad (although I suspect that much of the younger audience might like it just as well). Just something to consider...
