hi when i browse the ipsw file on quickpwn it always says firmware does not match ipod firmware. and my computer always freezes at the second page of quickpwn not really freeze but like it tries to load and for the next half-hour it is at the same spot without moving

wen it finds the file iPod1,1_2.2.1_5H11_Restore.ipsw on quickpwn it says the ipsw file you have selected does not match the firmware version of your device and i have ipod touch 2.2.1 hellpp :S?!

my ipod custom fireware 2.2.1 download doesnt have that icon its just a folder... did i do something wrong. Msg me if u know how to fix it

just to clarify this is for ipods 1st gens
just extract the quickpwn folder that is like 16mb with winrar and use the program

no you dont have to restore i just did it on that itouch since it was already hacked.
just make sure your system firmware is 2.2.1 before you hack it then follow the steps

Firmware 2.2.1, i went to SETTINGS,from there i go to GENERAL and then to ABOUT , the version is 2.2.1? That means that i have firmware 2.2.1;
