  • This is really the only way for African Americans and Africans to build wealth, and cut down the high umeployment in the black community. Cos black are really the only people that can help themselves, or not help themselves. I support this couple, they are very smart, I am joining them, cos the poverty in black community is just unbelievable and unfair.

  • This is really the only way out for Black/Africans. This is one way black can cut down high umemployment cos nobody will it for them.

  • I'm posting black owned places to eat at in Chicago on twitter. Follow me @BlackEatsInChi --- Thnxs!

  • This is a nice video

  • Although this is a wonderful idea, these are "black" businesses that are actually owned by white people. Anytime you are paying taxes and abiding by "their" regulations, its their business! Honestly, do you think they would put this out publicly if it were benefiting our communities? Think people....think!

  • this is a great video, fantastic idea..because..its real..even if you dont agree with them..its black politics..gotta love it! Power to the people!

  • Can we spread this world wide as we do need to Spend money wisely. in our own circles, instead of keeping up with the Jones.

  • Yes this is a great idea, spread the the world ya`ll.

  • It would have to be against another race to be racist. Are you saying Asians who buy from Asian markets or Jews who buy from Kosher Delis, Latinos from carnicerias, Arabs from Halal Delis or Italians from Italian delis are also racist?

    Its called self empowering economics.

  • Ilove it

we all should be doing this,i luv it.

  • This video should have way more views than this. I might upload this to my channel...with a link to of course.

You guys might want to make a Twitter account also...let people keep track of you.

  • @snicker009

The problem is Blacks spend 90% of our income with non-black businesses. These same non-blacks will spend little if anything with our businesses. How many Asians, Jews, Whites or Indians do you say spending money in Black own businesses. One of the reasons Blacks have such a high unemployment rate is we do not produce any jobs to hire our own.

  • The rest of us should do the same thing to those black people who are down, then move at God speed and don't hate.White people don't pretend to about what's white, they just do it.

  • I love it!

In the spirit of Marcus Garvey!

    Kamal Imani

  • That's what I'm talking about!! I love it! :D

  • YES!!!!!!! Wonderful, Wonderful!!! Take notes people!

  • more black people need to be this way

  • great drop...this is what should be happening. too much of our money is directed away from the community. i just think its funny how ppl comment say this is racist whenever we try to unite.

  • I hope they're successful!

  • This is so beautiful. We need to all be doing it so we can have more successful Black businesses and more in general.

  • 5 Star video...more Black people should think this way. We're pumping TOO much of our money into other peoples pockets.

  • God bless you all!! Hope you all succeed!!!Proud of you !!!

  • I think this is an interesting idea. I do the same thing to support my small town. I buy local. I buy as many vegetables and fruit from local growers. There is no local source for meats and dairy anymore. I support my local barber, I go to our hardware store instead of Loew's or Home Depot, I go to our grocery store, etc. For us, it's not a race issue, but buying local. We would welcome minority store owners in our town. We just don't have any to support.

  • I hope that they can learn to support their other neighbors too, no matter the color. Instead of buying vegetables and fruit from the 3000 mile conveyor belt, support the local growers and economy. The organic food is likely to be better quality and better variety. Instead of buying meats and eggs from a factory, support a free-range farm. Instead of supporting mega-industry, support the more direct source - your neighbor. It should be about quality and sustainability, not race division.

  • I hope this experiment succeeds beyond their wildest dreams. For my family, we have not found the quality of goods and services that warrant our hard earned money. It is my hope that this experience will stimulate consumers to support black businesses who step up their standards in meaningful ways.

  • !!!!!AWESOME!!!!
