e ainda dizem que ainda existe rock!!!

    porra nenhuma!!!!

    ninguém faz mais isso...

  • MC5 and the 13th floor elevators, you can only live for this music.......

  • +Pure raw punk blues. Beautiful!

  • What a stage presence the late Mr Tyner was! A unique combination of James Brown, Roger Daltrey, Jim Morrison and Mick Jagger. Bravo!

  • Gotta Kick 'Em Out!!

  • :)~

  • By "Jams" they mean hair dressers, obviously.

  • Who the fuck is Rage against the Machine?

  • @nickokanez ISSO AE, PORRA!!

  • MC5=One of the best bands.Awesome...Thanks for sharing

  • See, Alanis Morissette? This is how you do irony in a song. An 8 and a half minute jam session about hating jam sessions.

  • Who are the 14 MOTHER FUCKERS who said dislike? They ever set foot in Detroit, we'll shoot 'em.

  • KICK OUT THE JAM MOTHERFUCKER!

  • cudi1is3god is ABSOLUTELY correct. The MC5 functioned as a unit, not one or two hotdogs with back-up players. That happens only when those involved not only share the same vision, but have a dedicated work ethic---with any notions of anyone being "roosters" a joke. The Who (the original line-up) functioned in the same way. the results are obvious. Good of cudi1is3god to make this point.

  • Wayne Kramer and Fred "Sonic" Smith---THE finest two guitar front line rock & roll have ever, and quite possibly ever will, produce.

  • I think what I love most about this video is that they are a REAL band. like no one is the real center of attention, but instead they all demonstrate how important they are to their sound. nowadays its usually 1 or 2 members that just show off the entire time. every band ive been in where we've broken off into just jamming the singer would be like "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT." and be mad that he didnt do much, but Rob Tyner just flows RIGHT into it with no problem.

  • MC5 + kick out the jams = MOTHER FUCKER

  • Hell yeah!

MC5 was a great band and a total influence on Iggy & The Stooges.

    I want that Epiphone Wilshire!

  • @Philtration They actually played together. Thats how they got signed. Stooges opened, MC5 was the main act.

  • and then throw in a wah-wah box....

  • even with todays hi-tech clean amps..I still know how to make it sound dirty....

  • that's why I love playing a dirty amp...for my guitar sounds like that....a music teacher shown me how to do it...and it sounds like this here..

  • back when rock n roll was rock n roll with soul....today so called rock n roll is just junk

  • is this from beat club

  • how do I get a copy of this???

  • You know shits goin down when the opening line contains MOTHERFUCKER!!!

  • Fantastici!!! Unici! Grandi!

  • wow !..this is awesome !..i had no idea there was footage of bands back then swearing ;like (no pun intended )mother fuckers !

  • FEAR THE JEWFRO

  • you gotta kick em out, mutherfucker!

  • i see two marshalls and one orange so um

  • My muther would BEAT me if i brought this record home, lol ;)

  • ...and that girls and boys is how you do that!

  • You wish this was punk...

  • @CosmicBeingMusic And his wish was granted. Damn kids have no idea what you're squawking about. MC5 are one of the precursory bands that played the stuff what became labeled as punk rock, ppfffttt.

  • @ChiricoCuvie65 Ya... Led Zeppelin and the Black Crows are some of my other favorite Punk bands.... ppppppppffffffttttttt..... HHHHAAAAAAA

  • @ChiricoCuvie65 agreed, i thought Rage made this song until i looked into wayne kramer. He's the shit, revolutionary player

  • i'm 20 and am sure of say this ..."mc5 best punk band ever"

  • This is Harry's favorite song.

  • Fucking epic! Fucking American-made baddassery!

  • The end is great. "Well, we done kicked it out, let's go home." Love this band.

  • rob tyner had just made me shed a tear now

  • many great artists including Iggy Pop have called this tune the first metal song ever recorded.

  • Motherfucker !? On american TV in 1972 ?!

  • most high energy tune ever....

  • Adult Language Advisory!

    May NBSFW

    May be sutible for Revolution!

  • @TheAntiPop777 That's why I dig Clutch. Big dudes with beards sounding like dudes.

  • @cnathanpiv HELL YES. CLUTCH IS THE REAL ROCK N' ROLL TODAY

  • A little mood music for all my fellow old radicals.

  • I was intrigued. by what rollingstone said about MC5 when I was 14, so much so I stole the record. (Hey, Bob Dylan still has the Woody Guthrie records he borrowed w/o permission)

  • this is one of those tunes I never tire of

  • Mr. Marshall I now understand why you made those amps

  • @awesomemcnugget

Wayne is playing thru an orange dude

  • Comment removed

  • @awesomemcnugget I think we're mostly hearing the oranges for the guitars.

  • @TheAntiPop777 I guess in your wisdom Led Zep, Bowie, and other pre tween groups didn't sing like boys either?

  • @rmwjohnson Not to mention Ramblin' Rose.

  • you know the feeling you get when you see that one of the top comments are in regards to some other comment from someone else, like it is up here, and you gotta go aaaaaall the way back and look for it to see what kinda bullshit this previous person wrote?? sucks. If youtube "updates" youtube again, they should change that, instead of always changin the damn design and shit.

  • KICK OUT THE JAMS MOTHERFUCKER!!!0:01

  • That doesn`t look like Mike Davis on the bass kidder ,who is it ?

  • It's all about broy

  • Kick out the jams Mother Fucker

  • Dude, Rob Tyner had the coolest jewfro in the history of rock...the man wasnt much to look at, but he had the pipes and the hair...we are all a little poorer without him in the world today....

all anyone wants now are things not thoughts........

  • Golden age, golden sound.

  • Man! As pure as Rock and Roll can get right there!

  • It's a shame there is so little video/film of the band from their peak. This was not the end of the road here, but god damn...

  • awesome.

  • wich amp is kramer using? i know it is orange, but what specific amp is it?

  • The sound of Freedom!

  • Hell Yah! thats what I'm talking about!

  • wooooo! the fuckin root of punk right here!

  • real fuckin' music!

  • Doin this song with my band Friday at a big gig... On lead vocals, gonna try to make Rob Tyner and Fred Smith proud!

  • @RussianDrummer92 They were indeed, my friend. I fucking love the Sonics. For some reason, the Pacific northwest USA in the mid-60s was home to some incredibly kickass bands - the Sonics, the Kingsmen, the Wailers...

  • This video shows that in their later years, the Five were straying a wee bit too far into Grateful Dead territory.

  • Comment removed

  • @RussianDrummer92 Check out the Sonics, if you haven't already. Way more punk than the Velvet Underground, who were an art project pretending to be a rock band, and the Sonics were doing it in 1965, not 1968.

  • @RussianDrummer92 I find a kick to the balls to be most effective. Though, by the sound of it, your friends may not possess them. In that case, uppercut to the vag.

  • @RussianDrummer92 Amen. Raw Power was more punk than anything the Sex Pistols or Ramones ever did. The guitarist from Pistols even admits he learned to play guitar by playing along to Raw Power.

  • So fukin punk at it get !

  • people often, quite rightly, ask why didnt they get bigger? cos they put that fucking advert in the paper that said "FUCK HUDSONS"...that lost them their deal with Elektra, and they were fucked from that point on...but they wouldnt be the MC MF 5 if it had a happy ending would it??? KOTJ B&S!!!

  • this is waaaaayyyyy beyond cool...i dont think there exists a word

  • the 5 came and played in a lil o town called Indian lake oh .... after dealing with the riots and and the cops from 5 miles away tellin them to turn it down.. i can see why i have to love them ..

  • There are two words for that here in England, 'fucking talent'

  • At that time (approx. 1970) German television was quite progressive with the "Beat Club". Thanks to "Beat Club" we have now a lot of such great videos.

  • mc5, enough said.

  • Oh Wayne you show me the way........

  • Love the hair

  • Mc5 and the litter; best acid rock bands ever.

  • KICK OUT THE JAMS MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They are communist dickheads. tjat coulld not have done this without capitalism.

  • @brandy1000sissy hahahahaha go home to alabama you asshole! Thumbs up anyone?

  • @brandy1000sissy I'm pretty sure power chords resonate in Communist countries too.

  • If I drove a tank to work, this would playing on my mp3.

  • @radcam69 fuck yeah.

  • And they say drugs never did anything good for us. psssh.

  • I saw the MC5 in concert in the winter of 1969 at Hullabaloo in Newport News, Virginia. It was the first I heard of them there and loved them since. I now live in the suburb of Detroit since Dec1,2005.

  • this could be one of the most underrated riffs of all time

  • James Brown influenced a lot of bands. The MC5 are his crowning achievement!

  • @WorldMusicKollective I was just thinking the same damn thing. You see the way the singer is moving?

  • coolest white afro ever!

  • godjammm, i love this jammmm! These guys killed it...............MC5 MTHFKR!

  • @909everytime well yeah ... i can almost forgive them for that, they cant be held resposible for fuckwits like GD

  • @neilus the only thing about PUNK is some of dookie.

  • @neilus fuck that ! jajajajaja

  • @arlichar11: MC5 are fucking classic. The song is popular because it's a fucking great song.

  • @arlichar11 You're basing your opinion of a band on how the lead singer looks? Real objective. Dumbass.
