  • Twangtastic.

  • Yeah, I dig that Hucklebuck riff that Ron Jr throws in somewhere in the middle

  • sweet!

  • Question for your bass player. What are your pickup and tone knobs set at on your longhorn bass. I know it is a geeky question, but I have a longhorn too and I like your tone. Thanks.

  • Ah, but that is asking for The Twang Tens' "secret sauce". I will say that it is a combination of tone control, the amp and you must find the ever-elusive flat-wound short scale bass strings :-) -DaddyO Dave

  • C'mon! My old band "The Delstars" secret sauce was leaded gasoline. I have Labella flat wounds on it, I just wondered if you played the bridge, neck, or both pickups. That's all DaddyO.

  • @Timpala44 Hehe...has to be both pickups or it gets too tinny if bridge only. Both pickups will get the fatter sound you need because Dano LHs usually have a hard time "projecting". Rely on the flats for the plunk. Hope that helps.

  • @novapup2001 I have the Delstars' Surfin Impala cassette. Am I ancient or what?

  • Cool! We had a couple of 7"-ers and a full length. We went into hiding in 1999.

  • you Fellas really put the moves to this groove ! ! ! =o]

  • snappy tune and dave, rock solid bass playing as usual
