Cant you sand then wet sand and polish that gas tank they always look like shit i sanded the one on my atc 250r and it literaly looks brand new.Matches the new oem plastics to a tee.

2 stroke races and 200x and 350x- thats what the 35+ year old. remembers when they were young. i can make a 125 out run a 250.-these bikes are a memory to some, it was when life was a little more simple, it was when we were young. so i keep them and i build them-i have 14 3 wheeler-350x,tecate,triz,250r,200x i love them all they represent freedom.
@maxgarnica Yea I just got a 84 200m. Other 2 & 4 wheel riders & spectators still stare at the 3 wheeler. Big 22x11-8 front and 25x13-9 rear tires kind of helps too. Nothing but trails two block from the house. ☺☺☺
the Tecate was faster , but i'd kill'em on the track with my 85 250r ,,,, the Tecate was a handful it had so much power , with a twist throttle ,, i didn't think that was a good idea ,, if i had one , i'd put a thumb throttle on it ,,, i used to see one of these every day driving home from work sitting in front of a dealer ,, i drolled every day going past it ,, went to get it and it was gone , so i got a 250 r instead

You don't have to ride them the enjoy them. This sounds gay, but there is a certain amount of magic to these things, beautiful shapes and lines that grab your attention, and if you do ride them, you get the added sense of the power and epic performance they have.
I've yet to even see a Tecate in person, although I have to admit I'm more of a Tri Z guy. I would stare at my Tecate if I ever get one, but I can't help but ride the madness that is the Z. I don't trash my bikes though, ---

i still have this bike, i am going to build a 1986 in the next couple of weeks, its going to be a complete restoration, media blasted frame,correct color powder frame. i will start reproducing wiring harnesses witht he correct color wire and 3m contacts.- all bolts willl be new or polished out.-- ur gonna love it!!!

No more powerful than a a kx250 or cr250 or any other 250cc engine from the early 90's...
In fact, these would be slower... these aren't that fast.
