hahahahahah this is pure comedy here !!!!!! she says its not evolution oh so it just appeared ??? nothing created something ??? so what then its eternal ??? i think someone is blind en wicked in gods eyes oh well its obvious god doesn't chooses here maybe later she will come to mind en bee praising the lord so everything must bee evolved i must give credit for evolutionists for there BELIEVE/RELIGION you must believe non living materials can create life ore nothing can create something WAUW
It is truly sad how foolish followers of the religion of evolution claim to have "facts" to support their dumb theory. I am a believer in the truth. My religion of creation by the God of the Bible is based on faith. I would love to see the day that the followers of the religion of evolution admit their theory is also based on faith! Fortunately, I know what happens in the end. I read the last chapter!
@RestoredHumanity It is very simple. God created the Universe. That means God set all the natural laws of the Universe. God is omnipotent. That means EVERYTHING that exists must follow the natural laws God set. EVEN evolution. So when a YEC or atheist says that "natural selection" means God is not needed or isn't real. They are wrong.
Genesis creation narrative is not science or history, it is a fable with important moral lessons. Take it literal and you loose it's meaning.
@RestoredHumanity Apparently you are under a misconception concerning evolutionary theory. We can completely disregard transitional fossil evidence and organisms can still be grouped by sequence similarity via DNA sequence comparison and the resulting phylogenetic trees are consistent with taxonomy. Scientists had envisioned the paleontological tree of life long before it was CONFIRMED by DNA sequence analysis. Consequently, evolution is one of the most validated theories in all of science.
@RestoredHumanity Excerpt: James McCarter of Divergence Incorporated states that the work of 2001 Nobel Prize winner Leland Hartwell which has substantial implications for combatting cancer relied heavily on the use of evolutionary knowledge and predictions. McCarter points out that 47 of the last 50 Nobel Prizes in medicine or physiology also depended on the use of EVOLUTIONARY theory.
Scientists don't win Nobel Prizes in medicine and physiology based on a theory that doesn't actually exist.
@RestoredHumanity "I am a believer in the truth. My religion of creation by the God of the Bible is based on faith. I would love to see the day that the followers of the religion of evolution admit their theory is also based on faith!"
Sir, evolution is based on evidence...scientists don't just generate an hypothesis that "sounds good" and move onward. Faith is also NOT an attribute. Faith is "belief which does not rest on logical proof or material evidence". Faith = Belief without evidence.
@CynicalSkeptic1 The theory of evolution obviously exists. The alleged "facts" used to support it are based on faith. That puts evolution in the category of a religion. Have you ever observed a human being or any other kind of animal emerge from a completely different kind of animal? Have you ever observed life emerge from non-living material? No, but evolutionists believe "billions of years" is the god that created this through natural process. No evidence, merely faith!
@RestoredHumanity Can you hear yourself? You are repeating an analogy that some preachers have made, and you are supposing it is literal. It is the same fallacy of reification that you make about scripture.
TOE is not a religion, but certain aspects of it have parallels. BUT by the same token, the symbolic serpent in Eden didn't really talk literally either!
Didn't you ever learn about poetry, metaphors, analogies, symbolism, personification, parables and other literary devises in school?
@redddbaron I have to inform you that the Bible is scientifically and historically accurate. Every book. Including Genesis and the account of creation. The earth is around 6000 years old, not billions.
@RestoredHumanity "The theory of evolution obviously exists. The alleged "facts" used to support it are based on faith."
Sir, you are simply in denial. As I clearly indicated in my prior posts, not only does DNA PROVE EVOLUTION...but scientists are currently utilizing the theory in numerous avenues of advancement.
What hasn't been seen is a woman turning into salt or being made from a rib, men living in whale bellies for three days, or seas parting through supernatural forces.
@CynicalSkeptic1 DNA proves a common creator, not evolution. Your prior and current posts are wrong. Everything in the Bible has been seen, just not by your eyes or anyone else's who is still alive. That is why it is a historical account. There is no historical account that is scientifically accurate and verifiable which describes a god creating monkeys in his image and then causing them to turn into humans over billions of years! Wake up!
@RestoredHumanity Atomic Theory, Theory of Matter and Energy, Cell Theory, Germ Theory, Theory of Plate Tectonics, Theory of Evolution, Theory of Quantum Mechanics, Theory of Relativity, Theory of Light Energy, Theory of Electromagnetism, Theory of Radioactivity, Theory of Molecular Bonds, Theory of Homeostasis, Theory of Gravity, etc..
These are all theories also...but only evolution and the Big Bang are disputed. The reason is because they conflict with a 2,000 year old holy book.
@CynicalSkeptic1 What about the 1st and 2nd Laws of Thermodynamics? Do they prove cosmic evolution and the big bang theory, or do they conflict with them completely? The reason the theory of human and life evolution as well as the big bang are greatly disputed is because they are stupid (lacking normal intelligence).
@nash984954 also id like to see people like you get saved and not send your eternity burning in hell. I love everyone an it kills me to see people like you who are willingly ignorant of anything suggested to them. If you want him to and you ask him, God can save you and you can walk with him in paradise.
@nash984954 First You have 150 years worth of "evidence" that was proven wrong as soon as it was suggested. And second Christianity has never in the years of the world been even slightly contradicted. Not even once. If you actually believe what you say you believe you are an undereducated idiot.
@kasbityity "First You have 150 years worth of "evidence" that was proven wrong as soon as it was suggested."
I'm sorry, but you are COMPLETELY incorrect. EVOLUTION is being put to practical use in industry and widely used on a DAILY basis by researchers in medicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics to both formulate hypotheses about biological systems for the purposes of experimental design, as well as to rationalize observed data and prepare applications.
@kasbityity Excerpt: Belief in creationism is inversely correlated to education; only 22% of those with post-graduate degrees believe in strict creationism. In 2006, New Scientist reported that almost 2/3 of Americans believe they share less than half their genes with "monkeys", when in fact the figure is between 95--99% depending on the primate.
@kasbityity "If you actually believe what you say you believe you are an undereducated idiot."
Once again, you are incorrect. Religiosity and intellect/education are inversely correlated. The higher your education/intellect then the less likely you are to gravitate towards any belief in religion.
Even if you Google "Least likely to believe in religion" then the predominant response is "Intelligent people".
Richard Dawkins is right. Kent Hovind is exactly who Dawkins had in mind. Creationists don't get that evolution takes millions of years. That's millions, and life began 3.5 billion years ago. Hovind thinks the earth was the same all the time the earth has been around. The Big Bang was a joke term, not an explosion at all. It only refers to an event, not an explosion. He adds a bunch of terms of science together, misunderstands them&thinks he knows what they mean, a real dumbass, he knows nothing
Funny, giving a talk to the most low information and blindly obedient idiots on the planet, yes Xians are dumb f**ks if they will believe a charlatan as this. The man is an opportunists who sees dollar signs in a fake controversy of Creationism vs Evolution. Evolution has 150 years of people trying to refute it, but it hasn't happened yet. There are no peer reviewed papers on Creationism. And Hovind lumps many different ideas in science together & assumes he knows something. Idiot&asshole
@ireviewstuffiguesss Maybe if you say it enough times someone will believe it? Not.
Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand."
@redddbaron •"What if man is not really a scoundrel, man in general, I mean, the whole race of mankind-then all the rest is prejudice, simply artificial terrors and there are no barriers and it's all as it should be." Raskolnikov - thru his father Dostojevsky
-There... I can also cite heavy shit from a Book and be incoherent - and a better one than your book of choice!
@ExtrackterYT I was just trying to understand why you would call me a creationist when clearly I was rebuking a creationist for not following scripture.
"They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good."
@redddbaron I will be quite the more diligent of a commenter hereby... did not took the time, and effort, enough to realize your message as a comment/rebuke ...it's ridiculously apparent now! o_O
I don't know if I can take a full 11 videos with Kent Hovind talking. I just want to punch my screen repeatedly, and that doesn't affect him negatively like I wish it would.
Here's a challenge for you, find some evidence, to prove your theory, that is not reliant on a 2000-ich years old book, that your "kind" wrote yourselves!
I Know Kent Hovind is a lying, cheating crook, but he is an expert in astrophysics, quantum mechanics, mathematics, biology, geology, chemistry, anthropology, cosmology, biochemistry, archeology, history, psychology, genetics, and meteorology. All those scientists over 2 thousand years worldwide are wrong.
@paramattic70 I realize you were being sarcastic. But one thing you should add is that Hovind doesn't teach the Bible either. (especially Job) If he did, he wouldn't be deceiving people with "Satan's" false doctrines.
Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?
Hovind needs to humble himself and repent as Job did. But I have this suspicion he won't because I think he already knows he is full of BS.
Yeah, God did it! Ppffffsst yeah, like the universe is 13.7 billion years old. I know that scientists can determine what happened exactly .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 of a second after the Big Bang. But I'm going with Kent Hovind's theory instead. I know scientists can determine the mass of distant stars and composition of their orbiting planets.. Buuuut, I'm sticking to good ole Kent's idea.
@paramattic70 Do you know how they age the earth?? They age the earth by the layers of rock they find!! The problem with the earth being millions of years old is that they've found trees standing vertically in the rock layers that are supposedly millions of years old. Trees don't live millions of years!!! I believe that the worldwide flood the bible mentions is true. The debris in the water would automatically form layers. The layers would be arranged according to bouyancy!
@ImHereToWorship Not all layers are the same size. Some layers are plenty thick enough for vertical trees.
That's because normal years there is a gradual erosion and also secretion, but certain years there are local floods, land slides, earth quakes etc....
Sedimentary rock is made from both gradualism and catastrophes.
Being funny or making fun of kent, doesn not produce proof for anything...people usually make fun of others when they have nothing to say, so they speak nonsense because thats all they know.
@redddbaron , so ur saying that he is a false prophet?last time i checked i ddnt see any false prophets proclaiming jesus' name, and tht the blood he shed on the cross has the power to heal and forgive??u consider that a satanic lie?ps..tht is a very big misuse of the bible verse.. :'/
They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain.
Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth.
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
@petersushch Wooow... you nailed Kent Hovinds strategy in this "lecture". Every word you wrote is about KENT. Hahah. Humourless, ignorant, nonsens preacher, Yep!
If your only defense for evolution is that the singularity "Expanded" and didn't "Explode" and you don't have any other proof you really suck and this video sucks too! God is the creator of the Universe!!!
@ImHereToWorship Oh dear. Wrong science. The big bang theory is NOT a part of the theory of evolution through natural selection- it's not even a part of biology – it's cosmology. Do you also think you can measure the distance between L.A and NYC using a set of scales?????
@GrumpyOldJim How could you say that a theory concerning the origin of the universe has nothing to do with evolution. If you can't see where this all ties in I doubt that I can help you. It goes like this: Singularity expands...forms earth.....earth is hot......earth cools.....earth forms rocky surface.....it rains on the rocks for millions of years.....primortial oceans are formed.....single celled organism is produce by chemical evolution......Natural Selection!
@ImHereToWorship They're two separate theories in two different scientific disciplines whether you like it or not.You don't get to define terms in sciences you know nothing about.Different theories have different names because they explain different things.Darwin never mentions the origins of the universe,or the origins of life, just the origins of species. You only have to read the title to know that.Misrepresentation is not a virtue.Ignorance is not a virtue.Telling lies for god is not a virtue.
@ImHereToWorship If that's what you believe then you would need to formulate a falsifiable theory that can actually be tested. The reason the big bang theory has changed is because it has been tested, repeatedly. It is now universally accepted among scientists because the conclusion is inescapable. I know science is hard, but asserting "god did it" is not intellectually satisfying, nor scientifically satisfying. You champion ignorance as a virtue. Wow.
@zetronman At the same time saying "Dirt" did it is intellectually stupifying! To quote Dr. Kent "If Big Bang Theory is true where did the matter, energy and scientific laws come from." Until you scientifically answer that question accept the fact that the big bang is as much of a religion as creationism they both rely on faith and not logic, and neither one should be publically funded. To think otherwise proves you are ignorant or a lier. Take Your Pick!!
@SethBowdenn That's because no one is saying "dirt." Whenever you answer "god" in the place of a real answer, you have to keep moving because that can be the answer to literally anything. There is no question which "because god did it" doe not answer. There are many good scientific theories that have been put forward regarding the origin of the universe. But those are answers for physicists to find, not creationists. After all, any answer will simply be met with "nope, god did it."
@zetronman Then if im replacing the a word (ie a scientific fact) with "God" then simply tell me what should be there. in other words answer the question. Where did pre big bang matter come from. Where did Scientific laws come from and where did energy come from... Please answer these questions.
@SethBowdenn Science doesn't always have all the answer but it does have self correcting methods (e.g. the scientific method) that can be employed to find them. Scientific "laws" don't really exist except in the form of universal constants. These constants were derived from the big bang when space and time expanded. Dr. Lawrence Krauss gave a good talk, "everything from nothing." Basically, math proves everything *can* come from nothing, whether it did or not is still up for debate.
@zetronman Thats was my whole point. Your last statement "...whether it did or not is still up for debate" Science is "Knowledge derived from observation and experimentation" -Websters Dictionary. If you can not PROVE something came from nothing, have never been able to see or demonstrate this happening in the world around us, and you admit the topic is still up for debate, does that not mean that you have now left the realm of science and are now looking through religeous eyes?
@SethBowdenn How the universe began is a question that has no definitive answer; right now. There is nothing wrong with saying "we don't know, but we're looking." And there is also something fundamentally wrong with saying "we do know, it was god." In the last 10,000 years of written human history a lot has been attributed to god, from the rain to earth quakes, and so far, every single thing we've used "god" as a placeholder for has turned out to have nothing to do with god.
@zetronman Once again I would agree with you. There is nothing wrong with saying "I don't know." I "BELIEVE" God created everything right the first time. However, my belief is not science its based on faith. Nor is my belief being funded by federal taxes in the public schools. If my idea was publically funded I would be forced to PROVE my position. Since again you said "You dont Know" why is the Big Bang taught as science in the public schools? It is just as much a belieft as God.
@SethBowdenn "why is the Big Bang taught as science in the public schools?"
Because it is the best explanation science has for the observable evidence. In order for someone to supplant BB, you would need to provide a better explanation.
And remember, the Big Bang Theory was originally developed by a Belgian priest named Georges Lemaître. So it proves that a Christian scientist can get his theories accepted, but only if it is real testable science and not con jobs from people like Hovind.
@SethBowdenn Because there is direct observational evidence that the universe is expanding and speeding up. Those things should be investigated further. A belief in God doesn't need any funding because it doesn't provide any answers. Big bang cosmology will be one way to falsify a unified theory of physics. The God hypothesis is un-falsifiable, which is why it can't be science. The big bang and evolution are both falsifiable, and there has never been a contradictory observation.
@zetronman Again my personal BELIEF is creation. It's a religion not science. (no one was there and there is no way to recreate in order to test and observe) I believe that there are many scientific facts that support the creationist view as well as STRONGLY disagree that there is no contradictory observation with the big bang. In fact that statement is simply incorrect... I would be willing to debate that topic outside of youtube if you would like.
@SethBowdenn Kent Hovind is a lying con artist. Anyone relying on him for their knowledge of either science or the Bible is just asking to be deceived by Satan.
@zetronman You wouldn't have to look any further than yourself. Just take a peek at the parts of a cell. There are tiny machines working in there that possess Irreducible Complexity. These machines could not have evolved because any simpler version would lack functionality. Since this is so Natural Selection could not choose these variations. Even if you use the Co-Option argument and say that these parts were borrowed from other, simpler machines you'll eventually run out of them.
@ImHereToWorship Behe's irreducible complexity argument was shredded in court. Every argument of irreducible complexity boils down to "I don't know how this could have evolved, therefore it could not have evolved." The fact is, every example of irreducible complexity has turned out to not be irreducibly complex. What makes you think a modern cell is the same thing as our ancestral cells? Because to pose such an argument shows a complete lack of understanding of evolution.
@zetronman Evolution is unprovable. Even an idiot can tell you the difference between things that have no pattern and the intelligently designed. The only way you can refute irreducible complexity is to argue Co-Option. As I stated before you will run out of mollecular machines to borrow parts from for natural selection. I pose these questions: What materials did the "Big Bang" produce? How did chemicals evolve? How did amino acids form proteins without genetic information?
@ImHereToWorship Evolution sometimes works by co-opting and sometimes doesn't. irreducible complexity exists only in the minds of Christians. There is not valid example of irreducible complexity. As for your questions, my field of study is biology, and none of your questions have anything to do with evolution. The one that comes closest is your last one. I ascribe to the RNA world hypothesis because it seems to fit the available evidence best. Self replicating RNA came first.
@zetronman "irreducible complexity exists only in the minds of Christians."
Actually, IC is a legit scientific hypothesis. It was made by legit scientists and was subject to legit peer review. It may not be in favor at the moment, but it is not entirely falsified yet either. However, it NEVER was a falsification of evolution even if it would be proven. Just one of many models of abiogenisis of which NONE are fully accepted yet.
It has nothing to do with Christianity. Which is about Jesus
@redddbaron Irreducible complexity has everything to do with Christianity. As IC is fundamental to intelligent design, which is perpetrated exclusively by the religiously fundamental. No example of irreducible complexity has ever been put forward that we couldn't find a simpler predecessor of today, alive, in the wild. That's how laughable the idea of IC is!
@zetronman "Irreducible complexity has everything to do with Christianity."
Nope, not one word of irreducible complexity in the bible. I just checked :P The Bible is not a science paper and it is improper to try and use it that way. It is called a fallacy of reification.
haha, EVERYTHING Hovind said is true in this video :) this video fails at trying to embarase Kent lol. KENT HOVIND OWWWWNZZZ and is 100% right! the truth shall set you free!!!
Your little attempt to explain the stars thing by the example of examining a city for one week and coming to the conclusion babies don't become adults does not help your side in the least. Because by one week of observation you wouldn't be able to prove they become adults either. Do you understand? To demand I believe that, based on no evidence, is stupid. I hope in the future you think your arguments through from both sides instead of a one side bias.
I was going to watch all of these but you have no intelligible rebuttals or remarks so you fail. You're comments on the 6 examples of evolution; you say #5 isn't evolution but 5+6=evolution, a negative plus a positive doesn't equal positive. Change does happen with decent but to say that it all came from a single celled organism is, pure fantasy, faith that science cannot prove but only assume and even then cannot explain how it originated.
@marigolds44 Your biggest fallacy is that evolution has anything to do with Atheism. It doesn't. That's just another in a long list of lies.
Most evolutionists are Christian, and most Christians are evolutionists. Neither Atheists nor Young Earth Creationists like that statistic. But it is the truth. YEC is nothing more that a deception made by Satan to discredit Religion.
@redddbaron Atheists don't like that statistic? That's a strange thing to say. Dawkins, Hitchens, Harris, Dennett etc are constantly pointing out that fact, over and over again.
Matthew 6:1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven." Fighting science with science will get you no where. I pray that Hovind continues to seek Our Lord, and asks for a deeper understanding/relationship with our father.
He missed the point about star formation: Hovind's point is that only those things that are OBSERVED are hard science. You can have historical theories about how stars form, but that is not science: whether it be Hovind's belief or his opponents.
And Hovind defining the term "Evolution" is equivocation? Hovind is doing the exact OPPOSITE of equivocation. He is taking a vague term that is CONSTANTLY equivocated by his opponents and more precisely defining the way it's used by them.
@RomansGalatians Hovind is a con man. Period. His doctrine is lies. His life is lies. Everything about him is lies. You want truth about God, read the Bible.
Matthew 7 : 15
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them."
Titus 1 : 11
"They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain."
How the hell does this arsehole not know that stars created most of the elements!?
And why does he think the Big Bang has no evidence when it clearly does? (expanding universe and Universal Microwave Background, to name a couple off the top of my head)
And what is so funny about science correcting itself?
Kent Hovind is a convicted fraud, a liar, a confidence trickster and a fast-talking snake oil salesman. He has never honestly represented any scientific theory and is unlikely to do so because his credentials are also false. Telling lies for god seems to be all the rage these days.
@GrumpyOldJim - that's a lame atheist genetic fallacy - the apostle Paul spent time in prison - I don't know why he was in prison - but even if a 'criminal' explains a proven math formula - does ithat make the formula invalid - the madness of macro-evolution remains your disease to coddle and nurture. sorry
@whiteliketar You are right in principle, of course, but Hovind continually misrepresents the truth. In law, that's perjury, and in science it is the height of intellectual treachery. If your 'criminal' LIES about the maths formula, then yes, his argument IS invalid. I urge you to read any one of the 240,000 peer reviewed articles on the subject of evolution. You will find that the only difference between macro and micro evolution is time.
@GrumpyOldJim - describing micro-evolution in a more complete way dosen't make macro happen - no matter how bad you want it to happen - Hovind is right on the button with regards to terming it a vivid imagination. most of your 'peer reviewed articles' are from scientists who are atheists first and scientists second. as long as we don't allow proper criitique of this bizarre macro theory - we will always find atheistic brainwashing strutting through the halls of academia
@whiteliketar You know the private beliefs of every scientist who has submitted to the peer review process? I wont take such hyperbole seriously. I know nothing will change your mind, but macro evolution is the accumulation of so many micro evolutionary steps over time, that the species diverges significantly from it's ancestors. Eg. Archaeopteryx. The evidence is overwhelming. Nature's made her case and this is how it works. You may not like it, but that wont change what nature's telling us..
Hovind is a lying con artist and a convicted felon. His lectures are neither scriptural nor scientific.
Titus 1 : 11
"They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain."
@redddbaron ha ha - an atheist using scripture - Hovind is a thorn in your side - good for him. the madness of macro-evolution will soon be exposed for what is, the biggest lie ever to snake its way into the biology class - after Haeckels embryos - great science eh?
@whiteliketar You are right, Hovind is a thorn in my side. A thorn for all Christianity.
Titus 1 : 11
"They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain."
@redddbaron ha ha - as always aan atheist using scripture is is as insidiious as it gets.. The devil tried using scripture on Christ too - what did Christ reply? go look it up. Christ forever.
@redddbaron ha ha - the atheist using scripture is as close to the snake in the garden of Eden as you can get. get a life ...get Christ..before its too late.
@whiteliketar The biggest fallacy you have made, beyond calling another Christian an atheist, is associating a con artists scam with Christianity. Hovind fits this verse to a T even before he was convicted.
Titus 1 : 16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
@redddbaron quit your crap - hovind at least takes the fight to a lot of atheist assumptions and dogma- slown down on your use of scripture please - makes you look like a fanatic - if you are a chrsitian ...who knows?
@whiteliketar "hovind at least takes the fight to a lot of atheist assumptions and dogma"
No all Hovind does is con old retired church ladies (and a lot of others) out of their hard earned money for his personal gain. It is a scam and it needs rebuked sharply. Did you even read the scripture I posted? It specifically says rebuke SHARPLY. One of the few times you do in fact. A sinner? You forgive. But a teacher of these types of false doctrines for personal gain? "detestable"
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."
@whiteliketar evolution does not equal atheism. That has been your false premise from the start. You trying to get me to "stand up" to atheists is silly. This is not some war where I need to attack non belief. Much more important to remove the evil "Hovinds types" from the church so that people will be naturally attracted. Who want's to follow Satan's doctrine? You won't attract people with that.
@whiteliketar So lets see? I should attack atheists? Apparently everything Jesus taught about compassion for our fellow human beings is wrong. And also I should defend corrupt con men, thieves and frauds who have been bad stewards with the churches money? Apparently charity no longer means feeding the poor, caring for sick, etc., It means building multi million dollar museums of lies?
No thanks. I'll stick with Christianity and leave the Satanic cults to you and your friends.
@redddbaron - are you trying to be stupid or does it come naturally? attacking atheists means standing up to their ideas not attacking hovind the way you do ( practice what you preach ) - you scripture babbling religious clown . get a life
@whiteliketar Well evolution has nothing to do with Atheism, especially since the vast majority of scientists that discovered evolution were Christian. And even to this day there are far more mainstream scientists that are Christian working on various parts of modern evolutionary synthesis than atheists.
"Science and religion are two essential components in the search for truth. Denying either is a barren approach." - Martin Nowak
@whiteliketar Not likely for me to go away. Thousands more like me too, that are fed up with the lies Hovind and others perpetrate in the so called name of Christianity. We have had enough.
Christian charity is not making yourself rich and building YEC creationist museums of lies. Christian charity is helping the needy.
As far as your insults go, why bother insulting me? You know I am Christian and won't stoop to your level there. Debate the issues? Sure. Name calling? What's the point?
@whiteliketar If you understand the rules of logic and rhetoric, then how is it that you can't apply that same intellect to the False Satanic doctrine of Young Earth Creationism? It is, after all, the deception of Satan to take the Genesis narrative literal.
@DisprovingEvolution More likes than dislikes. Besides, says a lot that while this guy will let people rate his video, most christians and creationists cry at the fact that their dislike bar is double the size of the like bar, so they usually get rid of the ratings altogether...and censor comments.
What's your best argument in favor of creationism? I'll bet you it's wrong.
All hail the mythical and non-existent ape man shared ancestor!!!
May his magical mutations that spawned the polar opposite "evolution" LOL of Chimpanzees and early humans return again (200,000 years later) so that we can actually observe such an implausible FALLACY.
Takes a lot of "faith" to believe in that evo-religion.

I often wonder why Americans are so stupid to believe in Hovind who is an idiot of the worse kind. He must know he is lying and covering up truthful facts about the age of earth. Religion is the curse of the masses and those who are brought up with it should get a brain and think about science by refuting Hovinds lies !
kent hovind believes in a lot of stupid crap and spews even more, but he's a very successful snake oil salesman, he may not be truthful or scientific but if i were to debate against him and i claim 2 + 2 = 4 and he claims 2 + 2 = 10 he might be able to convince more people than me :S
most of his points are based on wrong premises and faulty logic but he speaks in such a convincing way he has an easy time debating, even from a position of ignorance
i've seen a LOT of his videos(and videos of him in debates)
it's scary that debates are no longer about truth but about convincing the uneducated masses.

Take it literal and you loose it's meaning.
redddbaron 1 week ago

CynicalSkeptic1 1 week ago

GrumpyOldJim 1 month ago
@GrumpyOldJim How could you say that a theory concerning the origin of the universe has nothing to do with evolution. If you can't see where this all ties in I doubt that I can help you. It goes like this: Singularity expands...forms earth.....earth is hot......earth cools.....earth forms rocky surface.....it rains on the rocks for millions of years.....primortial oceans are formed.....single celled organism is produce by chemical evolution......Natural Selection!
ImHereToWorship 1 month ago
@ImHereToWorship They're two separate theories in two different scientific disciplines whether you like it or not.You don't get to define terms in sciences you know nothing about.Different theories have different names because they explain different things.Darwin never mentions the origins of the universe,or the origins of life, just the origins of species. You only have to read the title to know that.Misrepresentation is not a virtue.Ignorance is not a virtue.Telling lies for god is not a virtue.
GrumpyOldJim 1 month ago
@ImHereToWorship If that's what you believe then you would need to formulate a falsifiable theory that can actually be tested. The reason the big bang theory has changed is because it has been tested, repeatedly. It is now universally accepted among scientists because the conclusion is inescapable. I know science is hard, but asserting "god did it" is not intellectually satisfying, nor scientifically satisfying. You champion ignorance as a virtue. Wow.
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman At the same time saying "Dirt" did it is intellectually stupifying! To quote Dr. Kent "If Big Bang Theory is true where did the matter, energy and scientific laws come from." Until you scientifically answer that question accept the fact that the big bang is as much of a religion as creationism they both rely on faith and not logic, and neither one should be publically funded. To think otherwise proves you are ignorant or a lier. Take Your Pick!!
SethBowdenn 1 month ago
@SethBowdenn That's because no one is saying "dirt." Whenever you answer "god" in the place of a real answer, you have to keep moving because that can be the answer to literally anything. There is no question which "because god did it" doe not answer. There are many good scientific theories that have been put forward regarding the origin of the universe. But those are answers for physicists to find, not creationists. After all, any answer will simply be met with "nope, god did it."
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman Then if im replacing the a word (ie a scientific fact) with "God" then simply tell me what should be there. in other words answer the question. Where did pre big bang matter come from. Where did Scientific laws come from and where did energy come from... Please answer these questions.
SethBowdenn 1 month ago
@SethBowdenn Science doesn't always have all the answer but it does have self correcting methods (e.g. the scientific method) that can be employed to find them. Scientific "laws" don't really exist except in the form of universal constants. These constants were derived from the big bang when space and time expanded. Dr. Lawrence Krauss gave a good talk, "everything from nothing." Basically, math proves everything *can* come from nothing, whether it did or not is still up for debate.
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman Thats was my whole point. Your last statement "...whether it did or not is still up for debate" Science is "Knowledge derived from observation and experimentation" -Websters Dictionary. If you can not PROVE something came from nothing, have never been able to see or demonstrate this happening in the world around us, and you admit the topic is still up for debate, does that not mean that you have now left the realm of science and are now looking through religeous eyes?
SethBowdenn 1 month ago
@SethBowdenn How the universe began is a question that has no definitive answer; right now. There is nothing wrong with saying "we don't know, but we're looking." And there is also something fundamentally wrong with saying "we do know, it was god." In the last 10,000 years of written human history a lot has been attributed to god, from the rain to earth quakes, and so far, every single thing we've used "god" as a placeholder for has turned out to have nothing to do with god.
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman Once again I would agree with you. There is nothing wrong with saying "I don't know." I "BELIEVE" God created everything right the first time. However, my belief is not science its based on faith. Nor is my belief being funded by federal taxes in the public schools. If my idea was publically funded I would be forced to PROVE my position. Since again you said "You dont Know" why is the Big Bang taught as science in the public schools? It is just as much a belieft as God.
SethBowdenn 1 month ago
@SethBowdenn "why is the Big Bang taught as science in the public schools?"
Because it is the best explanation science has for the observable evidence. In order for someone to supplant BB, you would need to provide a better explanation.
And remember, the Big Bang Theory was originally developed by a Belgian priest named Georges Lemaître. So it proves that a Christian scientist can get his theories accepted, but only if it is real testable science and not con jobs from people like Hovind.
redddbaron 1 month ago
@SethBowdenn Because there is direct observational evidence that the universe is expanding and speeding up. Those things should be investigated further. A belief in God doesn't need any funding because it doesn't provide any answers. Big bang cosmology will be one way to falsify a unified theory of physics. The God hypothesis is un-falsifiable, which is why it can't be science. The big bang and evolution are both falsifiable, and there has never been a contradictory observation.
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman Again my personal BELIEF is creation. It's a religion not science. (no one was there and there is no way to recreate in order to test and observe) I believe that there are many scientific facts that support the creationist view as well as STRONGLY disagree that there is no contradictory observation with the big bang. In fact that statement is simply incorrect... I would be willing to debate that topic outside of youtube if you would like.

ImHereToWorship 1 month ago
@ImHereToWorship Behe's irreducible complexity argument was shredded in court. Every argument of irreducible complexity boils down to "I don't know how this could have evolved, therefore it could not have evolved." The fact is, every example of irreducible complexity has turned out to not be irreducibly complex. What makes you think a modern cell is the same thing as our ancestral cells? Because to pose such an argument shows a complete lack of understanding of evolution.
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman Evolution is unprovable. Even an idiot can tell you the difference between things that have no pattern and the intelligently designed. The only way you can refute irreducible complexity is to argue Co-Option. As I stated before you will run out of mollecular machines to borrow parts from for natural selection. I pose these questions: What materials did the "Big Bang" produce? How did chemicals evolve? How did amino acids form proteins without genetic information?
ImHereToWorship 1 month ago
@ImHereToWorship Evolution sometimes works by co-opting and sometimes doesn't. irreducible complexity exists only in the minds of Christians. There is not valid example of irreducible complexity. As for your questions, my field of study is biology, and none of your questions have anything to do with evolution. The one that comes closest is your last one. I ascribe to the RNA world hypothesis because it seems to fit the available evidence best. Self replicating RNA came first.
zetronman 1 month ago
@zetronman "irreducible complexity exists only in the minds of Christians."
Actually, IC is a legit scientific hypothesis. It was made by legit scientists and was subject to legit peer review. It may not be in favor at the moment, but it is not entirely falsified yet either. However, it NEVER was a falsification of evolution even if it would be proven. Just one of many models of abiogenisis of which NONE are fully accepted yet.
It has nothing to do with Christianity. Which is about Jesus
redddbaron 1 month ago
@redddbaron Irreducible complexity has everything to do with Christianity. As IC is fundamental to intelligent design, which is perpetrated exclusively by the religiously fundamental. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them."
Titus 1 : 11

How the hell does this arsehole not know that stars created most of the elements!?
And why does he think the Big Bang has no evidence when it clearly does? (expanding universe and Universal Microwave Background, to name a couple off the top of my head)
And what is so funny about science correcting itself?
SpazTechIndustries 1 month ago
Kent Hovind is a convicted fraud, a liar, a confidence trickster and a fast-talking snake oil salesman. He has never honestly represented any scientific theory and is unlikely to do so because his credentials are also false. Telling lies for god seems to be all the rage these days.
GrumpyOldJim 1 month ago
@GrumpyOldJim - that's a lame atheist genetic fallacy - the apostle Paul spent time in prison - I don't know why he was in prison - but even if a 'criminal' explains a proven math formula - does ithat make the formula invalid - the madness of macro-evolution remains your disease to coddle and nurture. sorry
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You are right in principle, of course, but Hovind continually misrepresents the truth. In law, that's perjury, and in science it is the height of intellectual treachery. If your 'criminal' LIES about the maths formula, then yes, his argument IS invalid. I urge you to read any one of the 240,000 peer reviewed articles on the subject of evolution. You will find that the only difference between macro and micro evolution is time.
GrumpyOldJim 1 month ago
@GrumpyOldJim - describing micro-evolution in a more complete way dosen't make macro happen - no matter how bad you want it to happen - Hovind is right on the button with regards to terming it a vivid imagination. most of your 'peer reviewed articles' are from scientists who are atheists first and scientists second. as long as we don't allow proper criitique of this bizarre macro theory - we will always find atheistic brainwashing strutting through the halls of academia
whiteliketar 1 month ago
@whiteliketar You know the private beliefs of every scientist who has submitted to the peer review process? I wont take such hyperbole seriously. I know nothing will change your mind, but macro evolution is the accumulation of so many micro evolutionary steps over time, that the species diverges significantly from it's ancestors. Eg. Archaeopteryx. The evidence is overwhelming. Nature's made her case and this is how it works. You may not like it, but that wont change what nature's telling us..

@whiteliketar "Hovind is right on the button"
Hovind is a lying con artist and a convicted felon. His lectures are neither scriptural nor scientific.
Titus 1 : 11

@redddbaron ha ha - an atheist using scripture - Hovind is a thorn in your side - good for him. the madness of macro-evolution will soon be exposed for what is, the biggest lie ever to snake its way into the biology class - after Haeckels embryos - great science eh?

@whiteliketar You are right, Hovind is a thorn in my side. A thorn for all Christianity.

@whiteliketar The biggest fallacy you have made, beyond calling another Christian an atheist, is associating a con artists scam with Christianity. Hovind fits this verse to a T even before he was convicted.
Titus 1 : 16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
redddbaron 4 weeks ago
@redddbaron quit your crap - hovind at least takes the fight to a lot of atheist assumptions and dogma- slown down on your use of scripture please - makes you look like a fanatic - if you are a chrsitian ...who knows?
whiteliketar 3 weeks ago
@whiteliketar "hovind at least takes the fight to a lot of atheist assumptions and dogma"
No all Hovind does is con old retired church ladies (and a lot of others) out of their hard earned money for his personal gain. It is a scam and it needs rebuked sharply. Did you even read the scripture I posted? It specifically says rebuke SHARPLY. One of the few times you do in fact. A sinner? You forgive. But a teacher of these types of false doctrines for personal gain? "detestable"

@redddbaron - your association with atheist though has corrupted that mind of yours -

@whiteliketar Matthew 5:43-45

@redddbaron quit your babble and stand up to atheists if you are a christian - use scripture without evil intent - practice what you preach . lol
whiteliketar 1 week ago
@whiteliketar evolution does not equal atheism. That has been your false premise from the start. You trying to get me to "stand up" to atheists is silly. This is not some war where I need to attack non belief. Much more important to remove the evil "Hovinds types" from the church so that people will be naturally attracted. Who want's to follow Satan's doctrine? You won't attract people with that.
redddbaron 1 week ago
@redddbaron - join the atheists - you deserve them. lol
whiteliketar 1 week ago
@redddbaron you have no idea about what you are talking about. good for hovind
whiteliketar 1 week ago
@whiteliketar So lets see? I should attack atheists? Apparently everything Jesus taught about compassion for our fellow human beings is wrong. And also I should defend corrupt con men, thieves and frauds who have been bad stewards with the churches money? Apparently charity no longer means feeding the poor, caring for sick, etc., It means building multi million dollar museums of lies?
No thanks. I'll stick with Christianity and leave the Satanic cults to you and your friends.
redddbaron 1 week ago
@redddbaron - are you trying to be stupid or does it come naturally? attacking atheists means standing up to their ideas not attacking hovind the way you do ( practice what you preach ) - you scripture babbling religious clown . get a life
whiteliketar 6 days ago

I often wonder why Americans are so stupid to believe in Hovind who is an idiot of the worse kind. He must know he is lying and covering up truthful facts about the age of earth. most of his points are based on wrong premises and faulty logic but he speaks in such a convincing way he has an easy time debating, even from a position of ignorance
