Tereshkova had menses when she was in space. That probably explains her behaviour. But anyway, she was very bad prepared psychologically and physically. She had no flight experience for airplanes. Her backup pilot, Ponomaryova, was much better. They should have send Ponomaryova in space.
Tereshkova really has screwed up her flight. She couldn't even align manually her ship. She was lucky that all automatic systems went well, otherwise she would have burned during re-entry (like that poor woman who flew in May 1961), and nobody would have learned about her.
valentina Tereshkova should get the Star of Romanov, including with the others metnioned to Tass and potentially to Pravda, from the Daphne Czarivich.

Tereshkova had menses when she was in space. That probably explains her behaviour. But anyway, she was very bad prepared psychologically and physically. She had no flight experience for airplanes. Her backup pilot, Ponomaryova, was much better. They should have send Ponomaryova in space.

Tereshkova really has screwed up her flight. She couldn't even align manually her ship. She was lucky that all automatic systems went well, otherwise she would have burned during re-entry (like that poor woman who flew in May 1961), and nobody would have learned about her.

Nothing.. she dead during the flight.. and in these cases, and USSR always remained in silent.. the "proud" communists reported only the succesful missions, and of course, always AFTER the flight.. (the USA always announced their flights before months)
I think at least 25 astronauts were killed by the idology USSR, where the human right and freedom were unknown concepts. The human value was low, if somebody died, that was not problem, there were enough people.

Have you seen her in the spacehsip too, during her flight? I guess that Kamanin and Mishin, the leaders of the Soviet space program, are more reliable sources than you. I got this information from their books and interviews.

Did you know that her flight was made not only for scientific purposes, but also for propaganda purposes by the Soviet government? After that flight no other women flew for 19 years, until Svetlana Savitskaya flew on Soyuz T-7 in 1982.
