Ironically enough, San Francisco's subways were fully functional almost immediately after the 1989 earthquake, while surface highways and even part of the Bay Bridge collapsed. Of course, how are you gonna convince the public that you're actually safer in a (modern) subway tube than on the surface during an earthquake?
two things i noticed. the train that comes out looking like it's about to kill everyone lights were on at the begining all the way to the end. also the subway looked kind of different. what year was this filmed?
