The back is not faster than the front... every car travels at the exact same speed. The feeling may be different when you are going backwards but the speed is the same.

@kehbe That is true, but at the back, you accelerate faster because the rest of the train is pulling you down, while the front has to wait for more cars to catch up on the lift hill. So, all and all, back is more fun.

frontrow sucks cause you have to wait the end of the coaster to get all the way up the hill for it to start going fast. The only time the frontrow is better is when it reaches the broken tracks and goes backwards, so its the opposite of what i said before.

i went when the ride first opened last time i went and rode it was in january on a trip that i took and they made major changes to the ride from what i remember and your in band ? i am too our marching band went to Dallas texas this past december to partake in the cotton bowl we did the new years day parade and got first place :) go oon my page for videos from the practice in the new stadium :)

The yeti wasn't there when I rode the ride. Both times I rode it there was no yeti. The first time I rode it I was looking specificaly for the yeti because I saw it on TV. I kept looking and looking then the ride was over. I saw a part at the end where it could be and obviously that was where it was supposed to be. BUT IT WASN'T THERE. This ride was also really tame compared to Aerosmith, The Hulk, or the Harry Potter dragon challenge.

@SteelersCardinals1 you have to remember this ride is a " giant family coaster" and not ment to be a bahemeth coaster it is the tallest wooden framed coaster in florida however and due to the type of coaster a str8 drop from 200 feet would injure riders that ride the rides at animal kingdom ...dragon challenge is my faveorite coaster i rode it when it was dueling dragons before harry potter came to orlando my fave coasters are hulk dueling dragons  manta and kraken

They made it seem as if it were one of the best rides in the country. Nope. They did the same thing with Soarin' and Test Track.

@SteelersCardinals1 i did a review for dueling dragons three years ago and they give you a script to learn a month in advance the people they talk to on the street they tell them what to say dont go by third person when it comes to rides your itnerested in always go first person brave up and ride it yourself i found the ride enjoyable smooth to the onces i road similar to its kind

But, to back myself up a little bit, I live in Missouri and I saw that review a few years before this trip. It's not like I've been there before and was too scared to ride it or anything, it's just, I never considerd going to Disney before because it's too expensive for my taste (It was a marching band trip). I can go to Six Flags for a whole lot cheaper and it's about 80 miles away.

We were waiting to pick up our tickets, when the crew member made a mistake, and because she had done something wrong we got passes to get straight on, even to skip the fastpass line.

@melonmasta No, it just goes fairly fast. It's a really tame roller coaster, probably on the level of Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom, but just a tad more extreme. There's one small drop and no loops. The theme is great though.

it doesnt go upside down,, the seats only have lap restraints meaning that it is unable to go upside down for safety reasons,, but it goes backwards almost vertically which gives a similar experience

yeah apparently the yeti is in B mode nowadays (aka: broken) because in this vid (when the ride first came out), the Yeti was clearly visible and moving...but I just went a week ago, and it's a strobe light, and you can barely see him, plus he doesn't seem to move..., he just sits there, but the strobe lights try to hide that...A Mode is what we want him at haha

but STILL an amazing ride...I LOVE the backwards part, and the drop after the Yeti animation...pure awesomeness!
