The elimination matches were ok but could have been longer especially since JTG, Regal and MVP were eliminated too easily. Considering i stayed up in the morning to see if jeff would win, the WWE title match was a let down, (didn't know about jeff til the ppv). This match actually made me fall asleep. Crap ppv and really should have been better.
When guys like HHH, Undertaker, HBK, & even non main eventers like Regal, Finlay, JBL, & other veterans step aside, you are going to see MAJOR problems with the WWE.
One huge problem is that the guys they push are the guys that they handpick. They don't listen to the fans and push the guys that generate a spark. Kozlov is a perfect example. He might be good. I havent seen him so I cant say, but they were hell bent on pushing him no matter how people react.
I am not so sure EDGE getting the title was a good thing for EDGE because I think he is going to be booked as a transitional champion like Jericho is on RAW with Jeff getting the title from EDGE.
I didn't say that EDGE hadn't proven himself or that he hasn't earned the right to be a Main Eventer and World Champion, I am saying that I think it isn't good for him to get the belt if he is going to drop it to Jeff Hardy. I would have been better to make HHH drop in to Jeff because he has had the Title for awhile now.
I liked Survivor Series, but I guess it helped that I was there live. An overrall 5 rating is pretty harsh...and I wouldn't agree that it was the worse PPV in a while...Summerslam was the worst by far.
In my opinion, John Cena is the only wrestler that can get a world title shot without wrestling for the opportunity. He's the only wrestler that can win the title on his first night back after being injured for 3 months. I have no problem with Cena but there are tons of guys who could hold the title right now, cause I feel he's not ready right now. Anyways, that just my opinion.

I am sorry with the matches they already announced and one they are going to announce this Thursday, I don't see Final Resolution 2008 Version 2 being any better than this one. I will wait for Final Resolution V2 to come out on DVD and watch Version 1 instead.

The fact you gave the cena match higher than the trips match kind of threw me off. cena no sold a lot of things and it kind of killed the feeling of the match. jericho carried him the whole match with emotion and, in the ring. a little harsh on the survivor series matchs, i though all 3 of them where the best matches on the card, sure hbk vs jbl could have been better, but miz and morrison gave vey solid performances. The diva match was suprisingly good in my opinion, each diva got at least some of the limelight on them, and each gave stellar performances. Batista vs orton was amazing in my opinion, 4 star match probably, and is gonan lead to some great fueds down the line.

Im not a fan of Survivor Series my self. As you speak upon Cryme Tyme,IMO.. JTG has always been the weak link,as for team priceless..maybe Manu would be the more weaker than Cody,but he pinned CM punk. Also 2 stars for the HHH vs Vlad with a bad ending IMO. And finally the Cena fans got what they wanted,but i felt as if the build up for this match was missing though. I think it should have been.. win by DQ,in order to bring a more better storyline for Cena and Y2J.

The fact you gave the cena match higher than the trips match kind of threw me off. cena no sold a lot of things and it kind of killed the feeling of the match. jericho carried him the whole match with emotion and, in the ring. King made the match seem like a fairy tale which again made the e look terribly corny. shouts to michael cole though for coding the match btw. i hate how the burried regal, was totally pointless. you rated the ppv just a little bit too

a little harsh on the survivor series matchs, i though all 3 of them where the best matches on the card, sure hbk vs jbl could have been better, but miz and morrison gave vey solid performances. The diva match was suprisingly good in my opinion, each diva got at least some of the limelight on them, and each gave stellar performances. Batista vs orton was amazing in my opinion, 4 star match probably, and is gonan lead to some great fueds down the line.

This PPV was VERY BAD. I liked the casket match and loved seeing Edge PIN HHH for the title. All else sucked. Especially Cena. I would not have cared about Cena winning if it wasn't for all the BS that occurred before. Jericho wins the title, loses to Batista, wins it back 8 days later, loses it a month later. Dumb!

I was big on WWE/F in the 80's also, it seems WWE is trying to re-create the 80's all over again because they want little kids as thier fans again. And I'm just as big a Cena hater as you are. HHH finnally droping the title to at least someone was good, even though the match was botched and sloppy.

Yup totally agree as usual dude. I hated this PPV. The only good thing about it was Edge. Full stop. I love Undertaker but that was average at best and very gimmicky and stupid. The whole show was just well...random. First let down all year on WWE PPV and the first one that hasn't been good since Judgement Day. What does it say when Cyber Sunday is a far better PPV than SS?

man this is why i dotn watch WWE anymore. cena hasnt wrestled in like fuckin 8 months, he has gotten hurt twice in the last year and a half. and he comes back for 1 ppv, and wins the belt. he never even won a qualifying match or anything, just shit on the rest of the RAW roster and give it to cena. Im not a fan of Survivor Series my self. As you speak upon Cryme Tyme,IMO.. JTG has always been the weak link,as for team priceless..maybe Manu would be the more weaker than Cody,but he pinned CM punk. Also 2 stars for the HHH vs Vlad with a bad ending IMO. And finally the Cena fans got what they wanted,but i felt as if the build up for this match was missing though. I think it should have been.. win by DQ,in order to bring a more better storyline for Cena and Y2J.

this ppv, was a perfect opportunity to elevate a few of the newer names in the wwe, but that did not happen. edge is back and this sets up smackdown nicely as hunte bored me with his wwe title reign. cena is back and thats ok, but again my concern is who got a rub who was made to look like a future player, no one, kingston no, punk no, they really need to be committed to pushing these younger names instead of give them a little and then nothing, then release them when they dont get over
