Dude...I commend your effort, but that's not even close to being the right way to play it. Try D,Dm,Dsus2 for the verses and G,A,D,Em,G,A,D for the chorus. Oh, and take the capo off, normal tuning. I think you'll find it easier to sing with the right chords.
