For my drawings I used to use a Sakura Pigma Pen set and right now I'm trying out Faber Castell Pitt Black Pen set, I am thinking about buying a real Jp. Nib pack with the pen holder part and some ink to try that out. I use paper like Smooth Bristol Pad and pencils don't matter I guess but I use the artist pack with B to HB, that kind.
Nice, but there really is no point in buying that outside of the novelty or collector's value, it's much better to use the other deleter starter kits such that you know what to get refills for. Also for cleaning ink it's very hard to get the manga ink off, especially after it's dried. I doubt rubbing alcohol will do it, you'll probably need stronger ink cleaner. I've used Koh-I-Noor Rapido-EZE to get them clean to much success if you can't get japanese ink cleaner.
I've watched Bakuman and I really love it a lot. Before watching it, I've already told myself that I want to draw better and I want to become a mangaka (manga artist). And when I watched it, it really inspired me and made me want to work even harder and I did. I improved on many things, though still not that good yet, but I'm really glad that I watched it. I love Anime & Manga a lot. And I also love the way they draw it, it's so pretty. So I want to become someone incredible too (:
That's actually really awful that they're marketing the series like that, I didn't think they'd sell their products under the Bakuman name...
