  • its not really fair. i use amd btw. the amd solution uses a proper gpu where intel has never really made intergrated graphics and has assumed people will run discret cards. APUs at this price range are cleary the way to go.

  • AMD IS THE BEST GOD BLESS THE FOUNDERS OF IT

  • Funny thing is the Intel Core i3 2105 is at a similar price point to the AMD FX 6100 and the 6100 generally gives out better performance.

  • I LOVE AMD!!!

  • Song at the beggining of the video ? please :)

  • try i7

  • weird i have intel graphics i can run these games.

  • @AFSSD1 can run, but not as good as you would with an APU

  • i have intel hd graphics do not get it i cant run shit

  • mw3 outsold skyrim? awesome >:)

  • 動画投稿ありがとうございます!!

  • face it, intel graphics are useless

  • @sexking83 Listen to this guy (@sexking83), he knows what he's talking about. He's a King of sex for the love of satan.

  • @intolerance100 look at this guy trolololing

  • @sexking83 I'll have you know sir that I am not trolling at all, to the contrary. In reality, I want people to listen to your statement because it has merit. Unfortunately that was the cleverest thing I could think of to say.

I know. I'm a failure and should kill myself.

  • @intolerance100 k no ones stopping

  • @sexking83 200% agree who the fuck want to use gpu-cpu share shitty intel graphic for gaming anyway.

  • hi will this run games such as:arma 2, day of deafet source, counter strike source, left for dead both 1&2,garrysmod,crysis1, call of duty world at war, and team fortress 2? please answer it will greatly help

  • @Hockeymysport41 10000% sure that this APU will run all of those.... - crysis

  • @Hockeymysport41 pfffffff, these games are toys for A8 3850. You can run Battlefield 3 in this APU at high framerates, trust me.

  • And now compare the power consumption, the AMD will loose with clearly so you get a faster APU but it also consumes double the power and gets hotter. And ifyou really want to play games like Battlefield 3, you don't use the integrated graphics, that's for Office-PCs and the AMD consumes way too much power for an Office-PC.

  • @48734A Not necessarily. The A8 is more power efficient than core i3 @ idle. At load its a different story. But office machines spend most of their time at near idle anyway so A8 could end up being more efficient in an office machine.

  • @48734A APU consumes half of i3 in idle, in laod is a shit, but in idle is much less, due to cool 'n' quiet technology, and as the computer spend the most of the time in idle, than APU is better

  • @BritishNathan @LeakyWicks can you show me some tests where the A8 is really consuming less power than the i3? All tests I can find show a maximum of 2 or 3 Watts that an i3 is consuming more in idle. But I didn't even know it only needs that little energy in idle :O

  • @48734A anandtech /bench/Product/399?vs=289

    hothardware /Reviews/AMD-A83870K-Unlocked-Llano-QuadCore-APU-/?page=6

  • The i7 is out of the range for this AMD, AMD's run better than intels and faster only due to that they over heat alot faster thats a AMD side a effect. You can't compare this AMD to the i7 cause they are way apart for the price range and still the Zambezi is better than i7 sandstorm cause it runs at a faster pace.

  • @KiloExtras correction Sandy Bridge

  • Hi, im going to get a midrange gaming pc, but i already have a 6870, would you recomend me the A8, or the core i3 540

  • @FellTheSky if you are getting a video card you dont need an APU. I recommend the Phenom II X4 955, its about U$140 and will give you better performance.

  • @Cidadd yes but thats a different price range and isnt relevant. the apus arnt using high end discret level gpus yet so the performance will be less. however when they do, they will be a real competitor to intels even highest level cpus . unless intel and nvidea get into bed togather. haha that would be a total outright waar

  • @FellTheSky I thought the i3 540 is extinct by now? If you already have a 6870 go for a sandy bridge chip in your price range.

  • @LeakyWicks well yes, but the 540 was so low in price that i could not resist xD. although i ve overclocked to 4.2, and igota say it , its a beast (and 100% stable)

  • But how long until the fan and heatsink can no longer cool the AMD?

  • mw3 the best bf3 suks

  • @Amneet270 MW2*

    LOL Same game

  • Behold!!! The savior of PC Gaming!

  • AMD is far better then Intel if you prefer price/value!

I have just built 2 pc for my friends. I told them to buy an AMD phenom II x4 965 because its more than enough to play every game on the highest settings.

Guys don't waste ur money on an extremly expensive cpu. Buy a 965 and an as powerful vga as you can!

  • what the hell greg81809 this is a budget apu and it was compared with the i3 not the i7 idiot

  • so an A8 amd processor (4 cores, uses 100W, cheaply made) is better than an i3 (2cores, not a gaming cpu, 35W, perfect for working)...... what a great review this man made..... please next time make a video of an i5 vs the amd fx 8150...... yes an i5 will crush its soul.... i7 2600 wait wait the new i7 2700k is unreachable.... oh and dont compare the i7 990x.... fuck amd.... they cant do shit right they have terrible hyper threading.....

  • There are 13 peoples working in Intel ;)

  • LOVE INTEL !!! :)

  • 13 people saw Battlefield was in this video and gave it a dislike

  • @chuyito1010 you misspelled cod

  • @loctran1994 wait what?"

  • @chuyito1010 Is battlefield3 a bit rubbish? I've never played it.

  • @chuyito1010 lol

  • Well you could at least pop in a 50-100 dollars GPU in. As the AMD APU costs about 80 dollars more (at least here). OC'ing the Intel would probably make the CPU better than the Quad Core APU for gaming (with 80 dollars GPU).

  • @Hokrollo1

you can't overclock most of intel's sandy bridge cpus.

also amd has the a6 which costs around the same price as the i3 and is only a bit weaker than the a8 for gaming.

  • @Hokrollo1 u cant overclock i3 Sandy-Bridge u retard, it's not unlocked, A8 is unlocked, it means more points to A8, and u need at least a 100 dollars GPU to compare it to A8 graphics. and you're wrong with price, go to amazon and search for A8 3870k this one is even better cuz have 3.0Ghz, its 160 USD now go to amazon and search for i3, its 140 USD, its 20 USD of difference you retard, and dont matter what u say to defend i3, i3 LOST to A8, search anywhere you want, any site, and admit it

  • @BritishNathan

    You mad bro?

  • @Hokrollo1 what?? thats what you have to say in your defense?

    stop being a fanboy

  • @BritishNathan A8-3870K is not $160. Its $140. Amazon priced it bad because they ran out.

  • @Hokrollo1 i3 is locked. Cant overclock. Adding a GPU would make your price for CPU&GPU go above $200 and for that much, it would still perform badly.

  • @Tyler11440

Locked multipliers, not meaning it can't overclock. And GPUs doesn't cost 200 $

  • @Hokrollo1 you need at least a $80 GPU to compare it to the A8 graphics, and you can overclock it, but it isnt as good as it would with a unlocked multiplier, and you can easly overclock A8 to 3.3Ghz and its GPU too, with stock cooler making it really better and making need a $120 GPU on i3 to compare to its overclocked graphics

and both i3 and A8 cost exactly the same, as the guy said below, why are you going to spend $140 on i3 + $80 GPU = $220, when you can spend 140$ for a single one?

  • i3 gpus is not powerful but cpu is much better than a8

  • @Szyman6 we're talking about GAMING

  • wow who the fuck gets intel i3 wtfffff

  • @greg81809 hell yeah!!!

  • waste of time I don't really favor any side but if your comparing Intel HD and AMD graphics AMD obviously wins because they own a gaming division. What they should have done is test CS5, cpu intensive tasks and encoding video w/ handbreak! I personally am looking to get an amd GPU but am switching over to intel's ivy bridge if it's a good performance boost over sb!

  • The A8 makes for an epic budget gaming laptop... I own one. But it's kinda pointless it desktops, as it's really easy to get an $80 6670, stick it in a desktop, and beat an A8 with any CPU you have.

Intel IGP still sucks, nevertheless. There's no way to around it. None of you have lived with it: framerates are bad, but the freaking graphical glitches and lag spikes are even worse.

  • These apus sold SO well that amd has made $89 million PROFIT over them in first 3 months. NOT revenue. profit. so at least $200 million worth LLanos have been sold.

  • intel 4!!!

  • I'd say AMD for low budget PC's Intel for somewhat better

  • A lot of Intel fans fail to realize that if AMD dies, Intel will jack the price up to $1000 for every CPU; not just their high ends. Intel already jacked up the price for Xeons because of the bad Opteron release last year; please dont let that become the same for every market. Intel fans: You need AMD.

  • What moron uses i3 for gaming? It's good for laptops.

  • @Shayd93 i3 actually works well for light gaming on games like Dirt3 and other games 1+ years old.

  • @Tyler11440 Intel atom runs San andreas, so?

  • @Shayd93 AMD E-450 ($30) runs San Andreas on maximum detail. Intel Atom costs around $100 and can barely run it on medium, not to mention it cant even handle Windows Aero or 720p video without lagging.

  • @Tyler11440 Are you stupid or just not well informed, You can get Atomb along with motherboard for it for 70 bucks

  • @Shayd93 Thats a low-end atom. That would run it even lower. I'm talking about the highest-end Atom with the newest graphics. The $70 Atom has a graphics processor equivalent to a low-end GeForce from 2006 and a CPU equivalent to a Pentium 4.

If you compare it to the E-450 I mentioned earlier, the Atom has 1/3 the graphics power and equivalent CPU performance. FOR THE SAME PRICE.

  • @Shayd93 Getting the best Atom/Motherboard/Graphics combo that runs the same will cost you $170 from Intel, because they have to include nVidia ION to make it perform at non-pitiful levels. AMD can provide an E-450 that does pretty much the same thing fro around $60. Atom will NEVER be as good as a low-end APU.

  • intel 4ever :P fuck AMD

  • amd mops the floor with intel in every market except the smallest market

  • Comment removed

  • 6670 on both plataform still win amd. you need at last a 6790 on i3 to compare i3+6790 with a8-3850+6670

  • @tefrosen exactly

  • put one 6670 an you get dual graphics on amd

  • ASRock has AMD motherboards?

  • @Aelfredus26 yep

  • THIS IS FOR ALL EVERYONE HERE:

This is a APU for those who doesnt have money to buy a good computer, so stop fucking comparing it to an i7 990x Extreme or saying "if you put a graphics card..." HELL, if you put a graphics card it will cost the double! this is for low-budget PCs.

Intel have the best High-End processor, we in AMD admit that, and respect that, but you need to admit that AMD have the best Mid-Range graphics processors.

thumbs up this comment so everyone see and stop fight

  • @BritishNathan you the fcking man dough!

  • Amd may not make the best processor but they do make the best APU. Intel makes great processors but shitty graphics. At least Amd can make Good processors(they can play any game Intel can and i know from experience who cares about pretty charts anyways) But intel can NOT make graphics that can game.

Like Amd said their are 2 companies that make x86/x64(Fuck via) processors and 2 companies that make high-end graphics but their is only 1 company that does both And that is AMD.

  • " Put a proper GPU in those setups, guarantee you the i3 2150 will win."

Oh yes Intel is so great having to use Amd's or nvidia's graphics instead of their own!

Amd says we can make a gaming computer with are own cpu and gpu

Intel says we can make a gaming computer with are CPU and your gpu or nvidia's gpu

  • "Crossfire has never scaled better than SLi, AMD's drivers are not as good thus why they push them out once a month vs Nvidias drivers which push them out every two months. "

Total BS the whole reason a 6990 is faster then a 590 is because of Amd better Performance/Watt and better CF performance. A 6950 in CF is even with a Gtx 570 sli. So what is your logic in that as soon as Amd took Ati over Ati kicked Nvidia's ass and they still are. The radeon 4000HD series kicked nvidia in the balls.

  • u know what amd should do? amd should make an a12 or a8 squared, they should make a apu soooo good that it will beat the current and future i7's. I wouldnt care if they hike up the price near intel, all i want is an apu that owns the i7

  • @sofruity3 You do know AMD is getting out of the enthusiast market after the complete and utter failure of bulldozer right?

  • 6 dislikes. Nice try Intel

  • Cant wait for the A10-5800 this spring!

  • Alternative solution - actually use a proper graphics card - AMD is comparing them in what they are best at. I will admit, if you want graphics on the chip (no clue why you would want that), go with AMD. However, the best solution in my opinion is a intel chip with a seperate graphics card (AMD, not nvidia)

  • @MinecraftModder01 Why not Nvidia, I have yet to see a AMD GPU based laptop get more than 6 hours on single charge. My Intel i5 with Nvidia 540M/ Intel 3000 gpus using Optimus gets 10 hours on a single charge. And I can play Bf3 for about 4 hours off battery. So im curious to see whats wrong with Nvida. And my laptop was only 700 dollars and its less than a inch thin and its a 13in laptop. I fail to see your reasoning???

  • @bigrigross I use a desktop. I have no care for battery life.

  • @MinecraftModder01 This video was about mobile. And trust me then, Nvidia is the way to go. My dual 570s smash anything AMD has out right now. Dual 570s way faster than dual 6970s. Plus PHYSX.

  • @bigrigross They're actually not faster. The 6970s have 2GB dedicated graphics. I know that memory isn't everything, but that's just 1 example of why I prefer it. Anyway, I said previously that you didn't need that. I have a single 5770, and right now I am doing 3d rendering with no lag. 2 570s are useless. It will never all get used up. Hell, even 1 570 is probably overkill for what you do. What do you do that actually stresses your GPU?

  • @MinecraftModder01 WHAT the amount of VRAM means nothing. Your still stuck with the slow 256bit memory bus vs my 380bit. A single 570 is 20% faster than a 6970, and I got that number from Anandtech and bittech and HARDOCP. Battlefield 3, metro 2033, and other games use it. Though i also run a 2560x1440 display which is the reason for it. I like my games well above 60FPS. But I do have a mini itx build with a core i3 2100 and a 5770 as well. Its a good backup while im rendering video or code

  • @bigrigross I can get well above 120FPS on most games with a single 5770 on 1080p maximum settings. I see no need for anything more. As a programmer, I like a fast computer, but I mainly go for CPU speed, as that's what gets used up (as a programmer, anyway). A 2500k oc'd to 4.6GHz gets me through anything I would need. The graphics card really doesn't matter when you get to that speed. After a single 570 you'd be better off getting an SSD, and a RAM upgrade, instead of a second one.

  • @MinecraftModder01 Yeah, pretty much, i know you on that one. I have a core i7 2600k and it makes my compiling go so much smoother. And I play all my games at max everything. The second 570 gets the job done with that. Though I cant play the witcher 2 on max :/ I payed a pretty penny for my rig. Its used for work and play so it was worth the money. I do use AutoCAD and Maya along with CS5. The videocards do most of my rendering so they are needed. I already have a 240GB SSD and 16GB of ram

  • @bigrigross Given what you do, that's fair enough, but for most people, they get something far better than what they will ever need, and I find it utterly ridiculous, for example, that the battlefield 3 "recommended specs" are a 6950, given that I can play it on maximum graphics with something half that powerful.

  • @MinecraftModder01 Yeah, thats the only reason I even have 2. Though having a 2560x1440 screen does push my cards for the most part. Though the reason I chose Nvidia over AMD was because of CUDA. My video renderer along with AutoCAD and Maya use my 570s to do everything in real time for the most part. Heck, I dont mind my little machine at all. The 5770 can sure kick but and the computer only weighs like 10 pounds and it makes it easy to carry.

  • @bigrigross

    They're not.

CF scales better than SLI and 570/6970 trade blows depending on game so CF 6970 > SLI 570.

Physx is as dead as a dodo. Batman and what more? Yeah, nothing.

  • @Lolimaster Crossfire has never scaled better than SLi, AMD's drivers are not as good thus why they push them out once a month vs Nvidias drivers which push them out every two months. I have never seen crossfire get above 85% scalability while my 570s get 95% in most games. What is it with people today, is their fanboyism clouding their use of google and looking at benchmarks. You guys are pathetic. Anandtech, HARDOCP, and Bittech did all of these benchmarks and no they dont trade punches.

  • @bigrigross yes obvouosly, but I say and repeat, this is for who doesnt have 2.000 dollars to buy a dual 570, LOL

this is a low-budget PC gaming, and A8 win and smach Intel Core i3, that are the same price, and usesss 50% less power consuption

  • @BritishNathan No, the A8 doesnt use 50% less power. The A8 3850 has a TDP of 100 watts. The Core i3 2100 (which is desktop) is 65 watts. The core i3 in this test is a mobile i3 with a TDP of 45 watts

  • @bigrigross you forgot the video card TDP, as A8 already comes with one...

  • @bigrigross Seeing as NVidia uses more power usually, and I just looked a bit into Laptop graphics by NVidia, they have a techology called "Optimus" but not on all of the cards, so depending on the GPU AMD usually has a better lifetime because they tend to use less power than NVidia cards.

and I believe your BATTERY might have something to do with that...jus sayin.

  • @timendo215 Its a 6 Cell Lithium Polymer on a a 13.3 in LED laptop. Nothing to special. It just knows how to save energy and no, Nvidia GPU's do not use more power, if anything the 500 series is very power efficient, yes the 400 series was terrible, but they did fix that and I get amazing battery life when gaming on the go.

  • @bigrigross Hm, I just looked back into NVidia Power consumption, you're definitely right they seem to have fixed it, but it does have slightly higher in their lower end models, but when AMD puts out their flagship that shit takes a lot of power.

Sorry for the mistake, I usually don't look into power consumption daily unless I'm looking to buy it.

  • @timendo215 Its no problem, but when I look for laptop gpu chips, efficiency is what I look at first. I almost did get a HP Envy with the 6850M in it but when I seen the battery life on my laptop when I shopped around, I pretty much didnt even think about grabbing this. Though it is an Acer, its actually a pretty good laptop surprisingly. Thin, light, powerful, and plays BF3 at medium at 40FPS. On my desktop 570s, boy do they take power, my kill-o-watt showed 700 watts on BF3 :/

  • "And oh, british nerd, AMD's getting biased, why would they compare it with i3? it was made a year ago, a8 was just this year. It's stupid and ridiculous, i3 isn't even good for a gaming rig. Why not try comparing their shit with the i7 extreme edition 980x?"

What a dumb ass compare processors and video cards. and by price Amd kills Intel not everyone can spend 600$ on a desktop you could build a A8 system for 400$ while A Intel plus a Amd(ha ha) or nvidia card will cost 100$ more.

  • So you are comparing the onboard graphics chipsets??? Ok then, my GT540M is faster than the A8's graphics cores and I get 4 hours of gaming on my laptop and 10 while on intel graphics. I fail to see a proper contest between these two. The core i3 was never meant to play games using the intel 2000 series gpu. All you amd people fishing for a win is a fail lol. This just shows that amd fails at gaming. Put a proper GPU in those setups, guarantee you the i3 2150 will win.

  • @bigrigross i3 never win, the chipset it's very horrible !

  • @bigrigross

Little troll, AMD built-in gpu's are proper gpu's and they overheat like nvidia ones. So you safe space, battery and heat.

  • @Lolimaster Mine has never over heated little troll. My laptop stays below 70 degrees Celsius while playing Battlefield 3 on medium. So thank you very much. And again, i have yet to see a amd laptop go past 6 hours. Mine goes 10 while on integrated and 4 while playing BF3, and btw, i have a Acer Timeline X 3830TG with the i5 and the GT540m so shush your mouth you uninformed fanboy.

  • @bigrigross Says the obvious Intel NVidia fanboy?

Usually when people accuse others of being a fanboy, they are themselves.

I'm a fan of whoever makes the best equipment I can afford, and it so happens that that's AMD I fucking love AMD, I can afford their shit, my Phenom II 955 was 111 dollars compared to a 2500k's 230, half the price, thank you very much, BF3 on Ultra, thank you very much.

  • @timendo215 And there he finally tells the truth haha. AMD's stuff isnt the best but it is cheap. I accuse you because I do have a 5770 in my backup rig and my old rig had 3 4890s in Crossfire and a 955 BE. But that was years ago. And you know what, a 955 is fine for gaming for the most part. But I just dont game, I use AutoCAD, Maya, CS5, compile, use render video. A 955 sucks at those things. Even there 6 core sucks at that. Thats why I use the 2600K is because its 7x faster.

  • @bigrigross OMG, why everyone here is so stupid, ok, let me say this once more: IF YOU PUT A FUCKING DAMNED GRAOHICS CARD IN THAT SHIT IT WILL COST THE DOUBLE OF THE ORIGINAL PRICE,M THIS IS A COMPUTER FOR WHO DOESNT HAVE FUCKING MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

    Understand?????????????????????

  • @BritishNathan Then why compare apple to oranges???

  • @bigrigross wait, I didnt understand... apples are better than orange or orange are better than apple? I prefer apple, and have people who prefer orange, its a question of taste.

Well, let me try to understand this... you're trying to say: "if A8 is really, really better than i3, why compare with it", right? well, answer is simple:

cuz they are the same price

  • @BritishNathan Umm, as a processor though, the A8 is a very bad processor by itself. In computational task it would get owned by the i3. That is what I dont understand about this all. And all there is on that A8 is a 6630, a GT520 is equivalent to that and it uses 65 watts also. AMD has never been known for their power efficiency. I guarantee you my laptop uses less electricity and is more powerful than that A8 system, its only a i5 mobile and a gt540m. Sorry, discrete> apu

  • @bigrigross I dont fuckinh know what you didnt understand, I've said this about 100 times, Im going to say it for the 101st time: a i5 with a gt540 cost about 1,000 dollars, and if you dont ahev that money???? you have just 600 dollars, you BUY A A8. You understand now or I need to repeat? Im goint to repeat in other words:

OBVIOUSLY YOUR COMPUTER IS BETTER YOU RETARD, BUT IS NOT EVERYONE THAT CAN AFFORD IT!!!! A8 IS THE BEST LOW-BUDGET POSSIBLE COMPUTER

understand now or I need to spell?

  • @BritishNathan oh and OBVIOUSLY A NOTEBOOK HAVE LESS POWER CONSUPTION THAN A COMPUTER.

I guess you understand now that if you have 1.000 dollars you've obviously buy a gt540m with a i5, but I dont fucking know what it have about the video!!!!!!!! This is a competition of low-budget PCs you idiot.

  • @BritishNathan WHAT???? I paid 600 dollars for it. From the price you just quoted me you know nothing of the price of hardware components. Give me a a set of specs and I can get within 100 dollars of the suggested price. Before you start spelling, you might want to learn grammar. Its understand now or "Do" I need to spell

  • @bigrigross dude, Im from Brazil, the prices here are lot different, I just quick searched google to find in dollars, I have no idea of prices in dollars, but I know here in Brasil a laptop with i5, gt 540m and 4gb RAM is costing R$ 2200 and a computer with A8 is R$800.

I really dont know why u compared ur laptop to an A8 computer, even my grandma knows your laptop is lot better, this is a competition of low-budget PCs, and the A8 won

It doesnt matter what u say, search anywhere, A8 is best.

  • Comment removed

  • @bigrigross please dude stop being a Intel fanboy, you can do nothing, A8 has been declared the best possible solution for low-budget gaming computer, you lost, Intel lost in low-budget computer.

We respect that Intel have the best high-end PCs, isnt this enough for your loved Intel? Let the AMD have the best midle-range PCs, well if you dont want, as I sais, it is the best anyway, it doesnt matter waht u say

look what tefrosen just wrote here down, hes right, cuz I SEARCHED, thing u dont

  • @BritishNathan and another thing. The way this is marketed, its terrible. It makes it look like the i3 is trash compared to the A8, guarantee you put a discrete card in here and it will put the A8 to shame because the i3 is alot faster of processor than the A8 is processor side. So when someone is using a CPU only process, The i3 would be a much better option.

  • @bigrigross dude... look at the video title: 2011 top 5 most popular GAMES...

this is a game camparison, i3 is not crap, is crap just for games, it doesnt matter what you say, A8 is better for low-bugdet gaming PCs and gaming laptops (E-series) is even better because you cant put a Offboard card in a laptop, whats the problem of admit that?

  • @BritishNathan And here ill say this, anything that averaged 30 FPS in the video is not playable at all. That means the average and that means it crawls somewhere around 15 to 20 fps which is not playable at all.

  • @bigrigross all the games in this video has been played 30 FPS+ in A8, and you can perfectly play any game with about 25 FPS, obviously your notebook can play it on 60 FPS, but its not everyone that can buy your notebook, if you dont have money, you buy an A8 that is definitelly better than i3

  • I liked the part when Intel sucked.

  • Honestly, this is quite trivial. Also, what kind of a competitive gamer would use integrated graphics? I'm not bashing AMD. But put a midrange graphics card on those rigs, the i3 would likely be edging out on those games.

  • @JironBMohamad but would costs much more id you put a mid graphics card, this is for low-budget PCs.

  • Comment removed

  • More than half of the people who commented doesn't read reviews. A Pentium G620 is more than enough to tackle the A8 "in gaming", "in terms of cpu performance". The money save from getting a G620 can be directed to buying a GT 440 instead. Now let's see who's getting their ass kicked.

  • Maybe I'll take an AMD A6 or A8 Series PC and give Google Sketchup and Blender a try to see if it's worth doing 3D modeling.

  • @BritishNathan Just because I'm hating AMD that doesn't mean I'm a Intel fanboy. I have been saying those based on my experiences not as a fucking fanboy like you, kiddo. Nvidia and Intel are great and I prefer them over AMD, and that's my own preference, not yours. There are others too who agree with me, so if you don't, I don't care though.

  • @BritishNathan And oh, british nerd, AMD's getting biased, why would they compare it with i3? it was made a year ago, a8 was just this year. It's stupid and ridiculous, i3 isn't even good for a gaming rig. Why not try comparing their shit with the i7 extreme edition 980x? They can't even go further than that. AMD is a big fail nowadays, many people just can't see it. It's a big bias company. I have PCs at my home and they had AMD Intel and Nvidia on them. But AMD isn't just right.

  • @0902studios uhm but is runs games right? so why do so many suck on intels ballz? cause its faster? uhm ok. i guess.

  • @agello24 What?

  • @0902studios OMG dude, cant you understand? I've said 100 times and I repeat: THIS IS A MID-RANGE PROCESSOR, obviously i7 Extreme is better you retard, and they're comparing to an i3 because it costs the fucking same price, so actually, if someone's going to buy a low-buget gaming PC, the processor would be i3 or A8, because you dont have money to i7 extreme, so this proves A8 is really really better than i3 with the same fucking price, and run all games.

Understand or I need to spell?

  • The problem is that gamers will not be choosing any of these two cpus, they will be looking at a higher end chip and that will favor the i5 2500k. It's great that Amd is winning in the low end but that's like saying you won the special Olympics 10times while your completion only won in the Olympics once, no one cares about your wins in the special Olympics.

  • how about do an FX 8150 vs an i5 2500k video? both around the same price.

  • @SPAZZY1912 2500K hands down not to mention the 2500K overclocks like crazy

  • @TehRealCanadarocker last time I checked ,8150p held the record for the highest overclock with 8.4... Ghz

  • @terorvlad The i5 2500K is faster clock for clock, and even so that chip was volted like crazy and was hand selected not to mention cooled on liquid nitrogen, not even realistic situation.

  • they used a bad motherboard on intel, ecs h67 motherboard that can only take 1333mhz ram so 1600 is useless. this video is biased. its like putting a car engine to a vehicle w no tires

  • @arlonvan23 cmom, 1333mhz - 1600mhz, are u mad? this gives no shit, maybe 2-3 FPS, nothing bigger.

You dont need this video, search in ANY site you well want in web, i3 graphics lost good for AMD APU for a VERY big differnece. You can put this Intel i3 in a P8P67 Extreme motherboard, it will still lost.

  • @BritishNathan i can compare this product to a lower cpu than that i3 much cheaper and then buy a "dedicated" GPU than using amd APU. that will still beat AMD

  • @arlonvan23 Yes and no, The price has to be a same, if not... Then Intel loses automatically..

  • @assaulth3ro911 if your saying price is the issue it shouldnt be parts by parts price comparison it shud be the whole price computer prices comparison. because AMD A8 is an APU, its better to get an i3 or lower tier processors and with a "dedicated GPU" with the same price much better performance

  • The i3 is $125 while the A8 is just $15 more, that's nothing compared to the extra performance your getting.

  • amd sucks. their latest line of processors are a joke.

  • @Tenzinpelha They are called something different for a reason, APU. its AMD's way of saying, "hey gamers" don't discourage this is not meant for you, its meant for the mediocre gamer who will be playing cheap low performance demanding games.

  • I wonder how Ivy Bridge graphic cores will stand up against the Radeons in A8s.

  • Look at the price difference

~GASP~ HOLY SHIT THERE VIRTUALLY IS NONE

MAYBE THIS IS TO GIVE YOU A RIG IN THE GENERAL PRICE RANGE OF EACHOTHER NOT EACH COMPANIES FLAG SHIPS

HOLY SHIT I USED MY BRAIN

  • @timendo215 Not everyone is interested in flagships, though. Look at the market. About 2% of all computers use flagships the rest use things like the APU or i3. This APU is good for the price performance and power usage.
