I think that the kid represents him, and that he is chasing the box (his addiction) because he wants to do it again. The bird with the box is an angel. The man is God. He gets to God, and God gives the box back to him. When he opens the box he realizes that it wasn't doing anything for him (it was empty.)
@faethless2012 The band needs to move forward not back. When Dallas left the band and they got Spencer he tried to mimic Dallas' vocal style which is why "they are only chasing safety" wasn't as good as it could of been. Their music has only gotten better with Spencer singing in his own style. So why would they just get someone to mimic Aaron? Plus Spencer is doing clean vocals on the new cd as well and it sounds amazing.

ohhh my gosh, why do people put up such annoying arguments against Christianity? @ppetterrabbitt, the devil knows God is real, yet he is against the good that God teaches and does the opposite, therefore he is not a Christian. OBVIOUSLY. @Abnormalproductions2 and @MrBlue707, yes, it was his own decision to overcome it, because we have free will and all, and it was hard work for him, but God was there every step of the way, making him a stronger person and helping him grow closer to Him..^

He played for himself and didn't play for God. That's why he felt it was a good idea to leave.
