Anorexia isn't thinking that you are bigger then you are. Some girls see themselves as fat still when they are not but it is an addiction to dieting and weight loss. Diets show that you have complete control over yourself so some people get addicted to the control even.
I'm about 360 pounds and nearly EVERY DAY I get men (as well as the occasional lesbian here and there) telling me how beautiful and sexy I am. I get men hitting on me all the time, convenient stores, grocery stores, behind the counter as well as customers. Riding in a car with me they tell me how sexy it is when we go over a bump cuz they like to watch me jiggling! lol! A real man likes something SOFT to hold onto! I know I'm beautiful!
Im slightly overweight and would rather look like myself anyday over these girls. I know its a problem that they need help with but they have really let it get too far. That is not sexy at all and shame on the designers that hire these girls to model their clothing line!!!!
@V1V18N8 depends on your age, for instance the healthy weight range for a healthy 14 yr old 5ft 4" girl is 109-136 pounds. It can be higher or lower depending on muscle, breasts ect. (ex. A girl who does alot if sport would obviously weigh more as she has got muscle relative to that sport (runner would have stronger leg muscles ect.)) Hope I helped :)

I think what amazes me most is there is an entire industry of average sized people....maybe 10s of thousands when you count the designers staff, makeup and hair people, agents, photographers etc. who can work with these models and tell them that they look great or even that they need to lose more. Find a healthy diet which consists of foods like oatmeal, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, etc. And get a good workout plan. Don't worry if you lift weights you will not get super huge (unless you use drugs) because otherwise it's impossible for women to get that big.

I think what amazes me most is there is an entire industry of average sized people....maybe 10s of thousands when you count the designers staff, makeup and hair people, agents, photographers etc. who can work with these models and tell them that they look great or even that they need to lose more. Makes me sick that they conspire to kill these poor girls in the name of making a buck.

I just gotta say that this disease is horrendus. Wether you are literally a stick or not, the phsychological part of it eats YOU up. Its like a virus that kills you appetite living in you brain. And to hear such awful things on here like "these stupid bithces" or "whores" isnt appropriate. The fact they do this is for acceptance in the first place. NEVER tell ANY girl this. @HelloEmilyErin Looking like a skeleton is not attractive. If you want to look good, the last thing you want to do is starve yourself. Find a healthy diet which consists of foods like oatmeal, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, etc. And get a good workout plan. Don't worry if you lift weights you will not get super huge (unless you use drugs) because otherwise it's impossible for women to get that big.

a few of you people say that this is sick and horrible. granted it isn't healthy, but this is more than being thin. people starve themselves because this is a last resort, take it from somebody who knows. we do this because our whole lives we have felt disgusted by what we see. i cry when i look in the mirror. i have tried every diet and exercise and nothing worked. i just want to feel good in my own skin...and whatever gets me there...healthy or not....is worth it.
