I had this camera, but now he is broken, while filming during a heavy thunderstorm last summer: Heavy wind slam the door while i standing in the doorway with the camera and also the camera was hit because i lose my balance about this happening :(

The mechanism of the lens is broken exactly, that was hit bij the door.

And now i can't find a new one anymore in any store.

I want a new one, exactly this one. I miss him :(

I have always had the canon ixus which come with rechargeable battery . this comes with AA. if the AA is rechargeable can it get charged while in the camera linked to PC?

this camera is truly cool but taking pic inside is kinda ok with the IS on and night is dark for movie but using P mode will be as bright then movie mode, but i truly like my canon camera so is ok

I think it's the best of the best cameras for the money and quality. I had canon for about 5 years and never had any problems, few times my camera fall down and didn't break and worked perfect as it can be.....I Advise this Camera for anybody it's better quality than Sony, Kodak, panasonic... Canon is the best professional camera on the market!!!!

I'm sorta noob at this.. But you know when you can set your camera to take a picture within a certain time limit(like if someone wanted to be in a picture they'd hit the button and get in a spot infront of the camera) I have this camera, but I don't know if it has this feature.. can someone help please?

You know where the func/set button is. In that circle (right under the func/set button) is a button that looks like a little clock or circle. Hit that and then you can choose how long before the timer goes off. Hope this helps :)!

I blame Apple for this "pick your color" crap. Who cares if they sell hundreds of millions of products in three or four different colors.
