hi.. the owners were nearby and that cat was given to the owners.. the fire was caused by a grill on the front 2nd floor porch.. people lite there grills wait 3 - 4minutes for them to heat up , go inside to get there food and then its over.. cook away from the house or you cook the house.. heres the proof.. th mike
good grab boys. It hurts when you see the look on a family's face when you hand them a dead pet. Ive done that all too many times. But that look you get when you give them their animal in good condition it nearly brings a tear to my eye.
i was taping the fire for about 20 minutes..the cat just appeared in the window.. i heard him first and then the smoke cleared and you could see him in the window.. when the fireman entered the room you could see fire rolling up the ceiling behind him.. the roof was vented so there was no danger of flash.. stay safe..m
the cat appeared at the window about 20 seconds before the firemen saw him... he was in the house somewhere for a half hour before he found the window..
Saved a life!

The cat must have a very loud meow, otherwise you wouldn't have heard him over all the noise. Lucky Kit:o)

This was my best friends house. The kitty's name is Patrick. He is a cutie pie. What a trooper.

@sheusedtobeafraid I live in the area and work with kitties. I am happy to read that "Patrick" has survived. Give him a high five for me!

Thats cool. Poor wee cat was salivating. Did you see if they caged him and took him away? Or did the guy just put him down on the ground?

@vacksack Cats will pant and drool like that when they are *extremely* stressed. I'm so glad the firefighters rescued it.

Ah thx to all the brave firemen. Hope the kitty got off to the vet? You can get stickers to put on front door that says "pls rescue my pets".
