  • I agree with you Blkcat101 she's greaaaaaat!!!!!1 better than the class I paid for.

  • Although the ribbon like things r uneven but it looks nice as it is uneven planning to make this cake for my next family gathering >:D

  • I really want to go to school for this, and watching these gives me an idea and a little bit of an experience on decorating cakes.

  • hey i was wondering how we could do this if we dont have the um rosetip thingy u know the thing u drop in the piping bag to get that design? i was making cupcakes and i wanted the icing on top to look rrly cool so how could i do it without that tip thing?

  • navena love this vidoes

  • duh ! garlands are uneven

  • anyone lookin out the window to see what the neighbors are up to?

  • i am making my mom a bday cake and this helps a lot thanksss X)

  • Does anybody know what kind of icing is the lady using? Thank you

  • @ceciveggie i think its royal icing

  • @ceciveggie It's probably buttercream. Royal icing dries harder than buttercream and is used somewhat differently - at least in my experience, so don't quote me on that. xD

  • I think this lady is awesome. I love her.

  • Ohhh it's time to make those flowers grow! :) 4:46 is the best part of the video.

  • i thought at 0:21

when she said quick and easy she said....

    FRICKIN EASY!! lol

  • how do you make your icing that constancy and keep it like that? When I make buttercream icing and pip it doesn't hold its shapee. Or tends to melt abit. Please helpp lol

  • Your very talented I enjoy your videos.

  • hi like to know what this ice and I live in Brazil

  • yam

  • what you are gonna do on the take? you mean cake...lol

  • I watched all your videos and I really love them thank you very much

  • I'm making the Christmas cake this year *Gulp* and this video helped me a lot. Thankyou!!

  • When doing a garland border you would actually divide your cake evenly into 6ths or 8ths by putting a small dot of white icing at each of the peaks and in the center of the drop to make sure it's even. A garland guide, available from Wilton, will help create even borders.

  • you cannot deny that she is a bit sloppy/rushing. you can tell by the fluidity of her movements that she is experienced and talented and offers great tips. i'm sure she is more precise when decorating for clients

  • alot of you people are beng mean im not saying everyone but everyone who said she was doing sloppy im sure you cant do it any better then she did and the video was very helpful

  • You'd think she would use viva paper towels so that the design doesn't show. I'd be like wtf? If I got a cake and it had a paper towel imprint on it. Try seriouscake's channel. She's not a pro, but her smooth icing video is way better imho.

  • You can use the same technique, but use wax or parchment paper instead of a paper towel. That's the way I was taught.

  • I know, but I said that because the paper towel seems to be her choice and a smooth paper towel as opposed to the one she used would yield a more professional look. Thank you tho! I have only been able to try smoothing once using something and I intend on trying parchment paper next to see which one I like best.

  • im not trying to be mean....but it is alittle sloppy, but who's gunna do there very best for a video on youtube? and also she has to do it slowly to show you HOW to do it....normally shed be done by now so all those who say it sucks just shutup

  • Thank you so much for making this video. I am a beginner and love making cakes for my children and work collegues.

  • all this other ppl keep on bitchin about what she did wrong lets see you make a video smarty pants.I think her video is good because she did everything slow and explained everything carefully for beginners its good

  • the garland is uneven. that annoys me v.v

  • dont like how she did the icing bag :S i like to twist the top and lock it with my thumb and index figer :D

  • that was horribly sloppy craftsmanship

  • *gasp* thats not a real cake!!:D

  • it is!!! she showed us b4 making it
