mm not necessarily. an MBA boosts your career pretty much only if the company you work for requires it from you and is therefore up for paying for it. otherwise you'll pretty much lose loads of cash, time, and your current job.
If you want to get a foot in the financial markets I recommend you read the Vault Guides.
