I honestly dont know. But the way it works here, is if you can do it on your regular phone, you should be able to do it on this one. Its just a matter of finding the settings that work with your plan, and possibly changing your plan.
so i have at and t and am interested in getting the i9++. how does the internet work. is 2g even an option? how about 4g? do they have aps that give you gps? what is the point of having two sim cards?
The internet is very slow and limited in what you can do. It is very basic like your older flip phone internet browsing. Thes phones operate in what you would call "G" or "1G", or GPRS. Slow for internet browsing, basically the same speed you would get on a 3G phone when not in a 3G area. The purpose of 2 sim card could be to have 2 phone #s on one phone (eg work and personal) or say to have a prepaid internet card on one sim and your regular phone on the other etc.
No wifi on this model. The G2 Dream is the cheapest clone with wifi. The iClones with wifi are way overpricedand lack in other areas. I actually sell phones locally mostly, not too much on ebay, but I do have an account with ebay if youre intersted. Shoot me a message.
The sciphone i68 Id say is the best for the price (i68 with a 3 page menu). Others have a few more features, but it really depends on the price. 3G i9 is usually pretty good, if you can get that for cheap then it may be a better a choice. The i68 though has been around awhile, most problems worked out, etc. If you like the look of the G2 dream though, it has come along nicely in quality, and is not much more expensive...and has moer features and more sensitive touch screen
I would suggest going to davis micro (online). I deal with them regularly. Model is i9B. I dont know what the price would be for only one, but theyre usually pretty reasonable.
do you know if any u.k. carryers/ networks support the gprs to send pictures and surf the net? many thanks
