Is the pattern of the bosses always the same or do they react to your movements?

There's some randomness to the bosses patterns, and the fact that where you are on screen affects certain patterns that are aimed or rely on your position.

Whats a tate mode? i know alot about games but i dunno what a tate is.... could you tell me

Tate is a Japanese word meaning vertical.

Lots of arcade games are meant to be viewed with the screen turned sideways (3:4 instead of 4:3).

So if a game has a tate option, you can play the game full screen, but you'll need to put your TV on its side so everything's the right way up.

If you don't want to risk breaking your TV you can still play the game, but it will have black borders at each side.

I don't get it, how are you not dying? Not too familiar with this game. Do you have a life-bar or are you just that good? I swear you've gotten hit more than once.

The bullets only hit you if they hit the middle of the character with their centre.

Probably seems strange if you're new to this, but believe me it works out perfectly fine and makes these types of games much more playable.

Imagine this is a round bullet (+), only the centre of the cross does damage.
