I will agree that among the religions covered in the video, Judaism and Hinduism are the only ones that might be the oldest and that Hinduism is probably the oldest. However, animal worship, ancestor worship, sun worship, animism, and primitive forms of paganism most likely all predate Hinduism.

Also, according to Islamic tradition, there was 100,000+ more prophets sent to various peoples.

It shouldn't seem to matter to reason.
It's like asking the question "Which was the first group to get distracted?"
The chronology of religions doesn't give the earlier ones some sort of stature over the later ones.
When you realise that they are all man-made efforts to explain, console, control, etc. you tend to realise that 'which assumption came first?' is irrelevent.

The correct term for Hinduism is Sanatana Dharma which is the oldest living religion today. Every other religion is a different form of Hinduism. Over time a Philisophy becomes seperate, then idiot people make there own words, to maek them look supreme. True people Know where they come from and what the truth is in this world.

@dadubbel Hinduism has no founder nor does anyone have an exact date when it started. Hindus believe when the world was created thats when Hinduism began. In other words when the Planet is spinning and evolving Hinduism is here. Ancient Hindu Texts are quite interesting in the depth knowledge they give, not many people know what Hinduism really is. The Vedas are known to be the Keys to the Universe they explain alot. Our texts say Everyone, God, People, Plants, animals are from One Source.

@dadubbel Hindus believe we all come one from Brahman. not the God creator Brahma not the caste Brahmin, we call him BRAHMAN everythign the Universe is created by him and earth. This Supreme Energy is beyond mind and intellect, he is vaste through out and Infinite in this world and Universe. Google BRAHMAN and it will give more detailed information. Hindus believe you can pray to Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, which ever Deity all in all all prayers go back to One Supreme Brahman.

@dadubbel I understand what you are saying. The thing is Hindus believe in cycles. Satya, Tretya, Dwarpara, And kali, when ever a a cycles finishes they say the world is destroyed then re created. Or something along those lines. so alot of history could be long and gone. And the world today only can see what historical evidence there is remaining. Any thing prior is long and gone. Only books and ancient writings are the evidence we have left.

@dadubbel Also look into Mount Kailash. It is known to be the center of the Universe. Some people say this is where everything began for earth. The mountains has 4 sides, and has surrounding mountains around it. It resembles a Lotus Flower which is extremley sacred to the Hindu culture. It is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva his consort Parvati, and there two sons, Ganesha, and Kriteykaya. This mountain is very special and has great powers to anyone that can reach this mountain.

@dadubbel Kailiash also holds the highest fresh water lake in the world known as Mansoravar. which was created in the mind of Lord Brahma. It brings miracles and gets rids of all sins once anyone dips into this sacred lake. People say there is a Golden Tree which is in the middle of the lake and this tree gets rid of all diseases and miseries in ones life. This whole area is unique. Himalayas together hold alot of ancient secrets.

@dadubbel There is alot of proof Hinduism goes back the furthest, scientist have said time and time again India and Hinduism are the oldest and most ancient then any other culture or religion. India is known to be the cradle of civilization, the birth place of language and mother of every God and religion. My parents and very very intelligent people have said India's civilization goes back millions of years.

India was the richest country in the world since beggining of time, then invaders stole the wealth. eg. Islam destroyed temples anything to big they converted to an islam style building. eg. Taj Mahal is actually a Hindu temple names Tejo Mahalaya. Google It

that's your believe but moslem believe that Adam as the first human in the world is moslem, all prophets are moslem that means they submit to God ( Allah ). Hindu not the oldest religion, invaders from west india bring that religion ( could be old persian or aryan or old mesopotamian ). I read name 'hindu' itself come from muslim / persian ( the original name is sindh ).

Paganism was the oldest religion. A group of pagans became hindus. From then on other religions were born. So, practically speaking, oldest religion should be pagans who worshipped sun, moon etc...thats where the myth starts anyway..
