@Donciulis It is depend how is the stroke.My LTD stirling working piston is about two times shorter than working cylinder.
A lot of information about gamma stirling you can find on google.Try to build one, even the simple will give you a lot of satisfaction.

You need some theory if you want to make an LTD stirling,but only some ;)
