I dont know for sure, but I think he is using the same method as Daniel Garcia in his linking rubberbands trick

easy... the rubber bands is cut in the middle... the whole is where he holds and startch them.

When the rubber bands are not stretched one can easilly slip into the other rubber band making a nice illusion... good trick...

@linebit I dont think so cause his fingers holding the one rubber band never moves to present a hole and the second rubber band never reaches his fingers...the second rubber band also cannot have the hole because then it would not be circular
