Ya not only are you inconsistent. But you show yourself bowling a full game, throwing a 289 and on your scorecard it shows your spare coming on your last shot. The prolblem with that is is in the video your last ball was a strike and you threw a spare shot on the first ball so i dont even think your game is real
im not going to be an asshole and say u suck. but one of the reasons you're not throwing it consistenly everytime is cuz u are not keeping ur rite leg down as u release the ball it throws you off balance more and causes u to lift ur head (thts the one of the most important things in bowling is keeping ur head still) keep ur left arm up 4 balance as you are in ur backswing(not to ur side) and remember keep ur right leg down as ur releasing the ball and kick it to the side.

By the way Hammer is owned by Ebonite. My first ball was a ebonite tornado, then I got a hammer toxic, and just the other week I got the black widow bite. I had a bad experience with the tornado, but I blame the pro shop. I am convinced Hammer and Ebonite make some of the best products out on the market today.

If you buy beginners equipment you'll be stuck at a beginner for a longer period of time. This ball has very good reviews and it will help your game a lot. Balls only do so much, your revs, speed and timing all have to match up, meaning if you have 400rpm and you throw 7 miles per hour, no matter what ball you have it isn't going to work. On a house shot any of the top equipment now is good to get, it will help you carry a lot better. Check out the rotogrip cell, getting very good reviews.

I had the ball re-drilled to be less agressive and it was still too much for the way I throw (on medium oil pattern from 10 in, outside 10 is generally flooded). I got rid of mine and just got a Storm - Fired Up and i'm back to bowling high scores again, the gradual hook of the Fired Up is more suited to my style. The Black Widow just isn't right for the pattern and my style.

Being a lefty I wouldn't recommend trying to crank the ball. You have a natural hook... all lefties tend to. Besides it's not about how much hook you can put on the ball. Some of the greatest bowlers throw with little hook if any.
I bowled a 288 in my mixed league last night. It was simply amazing. I had only bowled two 200 games in my life(217&211) which both came last year. I had been in a pretty bad slump and was only carrying a 128 average. I really want to thank you for posting these vids, Hackie. I've been studying them and they've really helped me a lot.

By the way Hammer is owned by Ebonite. My first ball was a ebonite tornado, then I got a hammer toxic, and just the other week I got the black widow bite. Ebonite owns Hammer (literally). They have since 2003. I just found this out myself at an Ebonite Demo Day when they had the Hammer No Mercy there.
