How much did it cost you to make the Portal gun and how much time did you spend? Also I know you had many offers of the gun itself but would you by chance anytime in the future be able to sell a kit to build your own. I cannot for the life of me figure out a way to make those stupid white pieces lol.
A small film group have asked me to feature in a portal short with my gun, but so far nothing definate, and I'd rather do something serious like Escape from Aperture =P
The easiest of which is to get a drinks bottle and cut the ends off each side. I've seen someone do it with a glass bottle too but you'd need the tools available to cut through glass =P

This gun looks wonderful! I want to build my own but I can´t find a clear plastic tube anywhere. What did you use to make the center barrel piece?
