@UrDadIsBent88 I would get this one as it at least attempts continual autofocus during video. I would still primarily consider a DSLR for photos first and video as a secondary function for sure.

How does this compare to the 60d?

@adamsbil1 The Canon 60D is more comparable to the features of the Nikon D7000 (though the D7000 does not have an articulated screen). The 60D is better specced than the Nikon D5100 for photography, though video is more or less the same.

Awesome! The d5000 was an amazing entry level D-SLR and this one looks like a great upgrade! How do you think it compares to the Canon 550d?

@thetechnoexpert very similar offer to the 550D and 600D, video quality is slightly more natural, love the controls. Build quality about the same. Hard choice. I like the Nikon lens line-up a bit more, which would sway my decision.
