@Rachulie New England people in general ARE a bit rude but in a kind of sleepwalking way. They dont really mean it, its just natural to them. But cheer up, they have really stupid fucking accents and you can smirk at them. Seriously, Boston is a pretty good city, good quality of life.
@cullyvan i moved to hawaii a while ago. it's so weird bc everyone is saying im intimidating lol. i guess ppl here are sensitive. im actually thinking how nice it'd be to go to NE and see some strong personalities instead of these weak ones.

@Rachulie Ive lived in New England for about a year. I'm very direct because I lived in Holland and Belgium for 7 years and I need to try to take a step back, people think Im a bit nosy. I do like the "irish side" to things here though people can have that stupid - and great- sense of humour once you get away from the puritan work ethic thing.

I think I first saw this almost two years ago and it turns out I visited Boston last summer, reminds me of an older, east coast version of my hometown of San Diego. I enjoyed watching this and was impressed with the way you edited this; my favorite part has to be the very end.
Did the black folks at 1:22 know you were filming them by the way? They didn't seem to mind at all. :)
Yea from what I heard it even seems like SF has more homeless than Portland. I weighed it all out when considering options to move to cities that Portland ultimately isnt as good a deal as what youd get in Boston + its all the way across the country whereas MA is just up the coast + its my homestate so Boston is where I have my heart set on now. Its like ya most of Boston is more than Portland but I can see Portlands prices crawling up to at least be 3/4ths of what Boston is.
Plus Portland is still remodeling certain parts of their cities so their not totally redeveloped and when they are, much of it will be new and will lose the charm it had meaning Boston will end up being more traditional since it hardly changes. You may pay more in Boston but I think its a better deal for what you get in the long haul but thats how I see it + lobsters can be cheap hahaha.
