Nice video on how to make a fountain pen, I will make some in the feature. And will this just preference, I can't understand while some people prefer plastic over wood.
There are so many beautiful woods available and when carefully done takes so little wood or waste. I see a hand made pen as something that will last for years and so using a little wood is not wasteful. Also it is renewable if we would just make it so.
I even save the sawdust from my exotic woods for future things like inlay.
Do you really have to waste a BIG block of plastic to get that barrel?....sure a bigger block can handle the initial drilling better, but is it not more profitable to get a better quality vibration free dill & bit and work on a smaller block, thus wasting less plastic ?
Do you or does anyone reading this have a Parker Vector Fountain Pen and / or a Cross ATX Chrome Pen .. if yes would you please do a review. please and thankyou the Vector sells for 23 the ATX Chrome sells for 60-70. ..
I'd love a Micarta ® pen. Great video.

@prodigytechus Yes because plastic is so rare and expensive that makes perfect sense. You are an idiot.
