I would say a Protagonist human version of Jason Voorhees. Punisher is a tank, and not even the Joker could stop him.

I saw the film yesterday (friday opening day) and it was a terrible film but for that reason thats why I liked it.Its Hard to explain,though I was expecting better from this film.

I liked it. Kind of a good B-grade action movie, but in a way, you can say that about the previous 2 films. This version definitely pulls most of its material from the comics, mainly the Garth Ennis MAX series.

Definitely worth checking out.

true, i saw it on the opening night. this one top the previous one in turn of violence. ray nailed punisher persona. not that thomas wasnt great but he brought out more of frank (before his family was kill in mob hit)than the anti-hero. (dolph one i have not seem yet)

Dolph's version is surprisingly good. If you can handle there not being a skull shirt, an annoying sidekick and Frank meditating naked in a sewer, it's pretty entertaining.
