Amazzzinggg.. I served 31yrs in the AF. 6 years active, and the the rest as weekend warrior. My most memorable tour was in Germany about a year after the war with Iraq started. Every time I see the stars and stripes and hear this song at the same time, it always remind me the many flag draped coffins that we repatriated... GBA. (God Bless America)..

All I can say is WOW! I was a firefighter for 12 years, and an injury keeps me from firefighting, but this hit close to home for me. Just reminds you of the lives you saved, and what happened on 9-11.

My brother is a firefighter & I am always amazed that he can do what he does. He has risked his life to save others lives. Once when a brother firefighter fell through the floor of a burning bldg. to save him (pulling him out w/a hose). He loves what he does & doesn't think he's a Hero. I do!
