The commentary was much more fun than all the overlaid sound tracks from other videos. Looking forward to the build. It does need leds though! Give the kid a break! Don't talk indeed. That's what made the video!
Love the video! "Ahhhhh, the tree!" and I love the encouragement! "Split in half Dad!" LOL! Well, congrats to a cool flying ship. I remember a guy built a nitro version of this ship and his wasn't even half as successful as yours. Yours looks great!
Great stuff....No captain you are ,but you sure had it in warp speed. Especially when it hit the ground. heheheh Looks like the trekkies will be starting to hang around that air field too. heheh
@sgtalon Hi Sgtalon i downloaded your plans from a website so i could build this but the link you have put up for rcgroups don't work,i keep getting redirected ;-( so i was hoping you might send me a link to the rcgroups build thread in a private message ;-) any help o this would be appreciated.
Also, I find the director/cinematographer's commentary eloquent and expressive of my own internal tensions created by the intermittent disappearance of the protagonist subject behind the antagonist foliage. :D
I concur with your evaluation of the Cinematographers internal anxiety and subsequent pronouncement of the resulting calamity experienced by the protaganist. Fortunately the protaganist was vindicated in it's ascendancy into glory in the ensuing escape from it's terrestrial bonds.
I'm curious about the possibility of making a model more solid than this one. It would add a lot of drag and weight, but looks even better. After all, the looks were the primary drive in building this machine.
lol this think fly

The cinematography is Felliniesque and speaks of the existential angst of postmodernism. :D
